Yoda, it took me a few minutes to realize I could just copy and paste my "missing" Summary paragraph from my Review of Other M into the General Information section, making it whole and complete again...
...but now, I have the Summary appearing in my first Comment too...
...not a BIG deal, but when I went to Edit it from the Comments, the "Edit" link just won't work!
I think it mentions something about Javascript at the bottom of my browser when I try...

I need steps taken prior, the address in the address bar before-hand if possible, just as much info as possible.
EDIT: Nevermind, pretty sure I've worked out exactly what's going on here. And if I'm right, I may have to kill GG.
The address before was just the home page address.
Often when going to a previous page of ggweekly I get a 404 error with the navy picture. I'll try turning off the latest post thingy and see if that helps.

Quick evaluation -- this will happen when you open it in a new window/tab. Until it's fixed, keep it in the same tab and it'll load fine.
Acknowledging two errors I'm coming across myself when posting with the editor, both are seemingly random occurrences in Opera 10.62.
1. Quoted posts will drop everything but the quote itself when posted.
2. The post will declare the post is empty when attempting to post/preview, and toggling the editor will eliminate the text.
So still working on both of those.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileAh alrighty. Only problem with that is from the home page just left clicking often doesn't open any of the tabs. I can opent he forum a new tab, then go directly to ggweekly, though so it's all good.
Got this one again. Will try to start new post and see if it goes up (if this topic is not in non-gaming forum then I never got it to work).
Made a change to address the post is empty issue. Relay it here if it still persists.

Yay!
The update rich text to link convertor thing, seems spotty. And only rarely works.
Also, I know you say its not the sites fault, but scrolling can still be slow and jerky.
Yoda? Is the "Jump to Oldest Unread" function disabled?
It seems to go to the Correct page, but ONLY to the top of the page, NOT the last specific read post.
...and is there a reason I can't Center Justify or Block Justify anything anymore? The buttons don't work!

I use the log in window but it never goes away and logs me in. I discovered I have to close the window and then reload the page and then I'm logged in. Ok...
Both firefox and safari on my mac. Anyone have any problems?
Plus is there a way that you can be logged in for the day? I have to re log in every 10 minutes or so.
Logging into one browser may log you out of another, so switching between them may be the root of your issues.
Confirmed login error in Chrome. Will address.

Not presently installed, but I did at one point have been Windows and Linux on one machine...
Opera 5-9, Firefox 1-3, Internet Explorer 1-8, Safari 2-4, Google Chrome, Chromium, Konqueror, Dillo, Lynx, Links, Elinks, Swift, Orca, Avant, Kmeleon, Maxthon, Lobo, Sleipnir.
Right now I've got Firefox 3.6, Opera 10.6, Google Chrome on Linux, along with Internet Explorer 6 and 8 in XP Virtual Machines, and IE8 in my Windows 7 boot. Chrome uses Webkit, which is the same engine as Safari, and nobody should be on Firefox 2 or Opera 9 anymore. Pretty much everything else uses one of the engines from those browsers.

It seems to be okay at the moment but earlier today and even a few minutes ago. The editor seems really slow, like there is a delay between my typing and the words coming on screen. Also the scrolling is slow and it seems to work okay with the page up and down buttons and even the arrow keys, but clicking the scroll bar on the right moves jerkily.
Also the rich text to link convertor for the updates doesn't seem to be working reliably.
I think you should try using IE8 with the site for a whole week and see if you notice any of these problems, because sometimes it works and sometimes its spotty.
I'm having problems with the editor.
When I quote someone the cursor should ideally be placed in a position ready to type a response. Instead it's not there and when I try and click at the right point on screen, I can click multiple times before the cursor appears in the right spot, if at all.
Several times today I have had to go into the source code and insert break tags before I can even type anything.

Look, you're running in compatibility mode. I don't know what else to say, your browser is emulating IE7. Your useragent shows IE7, the glitch for the news title box being too small was only in IE7. You're running in compatibility mode. Since you can't seem to find the compatibility view button, go to Tools and uncheck Compatibility View. Any issues there, go to Tools->Compatibility View Settings and remove thevgpress.com from the list.
