It delivered on the promise that Wii U failed to do. Yeah it's a great piece of hardware for portable and tv gaming but it's due for an update. These graphics are so old, I'm tired of 720p gaming on the thing. Its 2022 please make something more modern.

Yes, I agree. I am betting COIVD has delayed Switch 2 (if that is there plan) by a couple of years at least. And apparently the Yen is way down which would make it more difficult for them as well.
I just hope that whatever the next thing is from Nintendo it is an interation of the Switch. I can;t see them splitting the home/ handheld into two consoles after the success of the Switch.
It's been a really good console for me ever since I got one in February. Hard to justify getting anything that's not exclusive, though, as my monitor's resolution is higher than the Switch's resolution. I typically play Switch games with a reduced viewing size as a result.
By Miu Watanabe.
If you don't use the wishlist and have a large SD Card you're doing it wrong. I own more games for it than any other system.
I'm upset that the virtual console has regressed because of this machine to a shell of what it could have been.
I'm upset that they charged for online with this system.
The sheer lack of horse power is also a detriment to genuine bangers like Breath of the Wild and Bayonetta 3, because egad that performance.
The pro controller has awful deadzones on those analogs.
Luckily I like a lot of the stuff I've played on it, and it was pretty clutch to use during small breaks at work. I am a Tetris 99 beast.
Bayo 3 is struggling cause of this damn system. The graphic tech is over 10 years old, enough is enough Nintendo.

I'm pretty sure they can't hear you over the sound of their laughing while they're on the way to the bank.

No. They care. They absolutely care. They're probably getting ready to launch the Switch 2 tomorrow because people are unhappy. Count on it.

I went into the Nintendo online NES and SNES after months of not checking and no new games. Pardon my french, but that's just LE FUCKING BULLLLLSHIT.
Problem is the new games aren't good.
Well, they've updated it now! The Gameboy ads a lot of value.
I've not subsciebed for their next tier up, not sure I will when I can still play GBA games on my Gamecube via the plug in accessory.
Do any of you have experience with third-party Switch dock? Something I could hook up to a second TV and put the switch in?
Please help.

Yup. Already started Link's Awakening. Can't wait for them to add the Oracle games as well. I played ages when it came out, but would like to play Seasons too.
Ravenprose said:I've read only bad things about third party Switch docks. I recommend buying a second official dock from Nintendo.
I'd advise you to get the newer model of the dock, the white one with the rounded edges. It's pretty expensive, but they throw in a shiny new OLED Switch to soften the deal for you.

Just ebay an OLED Dock. People are selling them cheap and OG switch is supposed to fit. I think.
OLED screen looks good enough that people are dumping the docks.
Better yet, buy the OLED Switch; keep the dock, and give me the OLED switch. Problem solved. Happy to help.
I don't I've been as much of a dedicated Nintendo console owner since the Gamecube, but these days I have been playing Switch exclusively. Trust me, I'd love to have the time to play on my PC, where there are so many games I want and need to get to.
But between Xbox, PS, and Switch, I've been buying everything I can play on Switch for that platform. In part, because as a "family man" I no longer own any televisions. Sure, I have 4 of them in my house, but my control of them has long been lost, so the Switch is the only screen available.
Also, for whatever reason, Nintendo gets away with not allowing most publishers to do ridiculous updates that the XB and PS get. I guess because of the limited storage on the hardware. Which for my situation (slow and capped internet) is a massive benefit.
Ultimately though the best thing about the Switch is that I finish games on it. Because it is portable I can play games in the minutes of respite I get (even if it is only in 15 minute spurts).
I hope Nintendo does not deviate too far from the Switch with the next console, or if they do I hope the Valve's Steamdeck 2 is a but more consumer friendly (and comes to Australia the c***s).
