Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ makes this week epic and Darius Twin is great but i don't think it can stand outside of the 100 other 2d side scroller shooters VC seems to have

This is a good pace for Nintendo to be on with the VC - one new release a week. They've been doing that for the last 6 weeks or so. Keep that pace going and no one will have any legitimate complaints.
And if you like shmups Darius Twin is a pretty good game, but like Egg said, there's no shortage of them on the VC. Lords of Thunder is still king of the genre in my book, so if you don't have that one pass up Darius Twin and go for that.
