Do yourself a favour, go into the Nintendo channel, click on the video of the Connection Ambassador and watch it.

Bascially on the Wii Shop channel front page there is an icon you click where it says connection ambassador.

You then click if you were either:

a) the person who helped

or

b) the person who was helped to connect their wii to the internet

Then you enter the wii system code of the person you helped or the person who helped you.

Then you BOTH get a free 500 wii points credited to your account which means that you cheap assholes can finally buy Lost Winds 2 at half price.

Then I will register you as the person I helped get online. We both get 500 free points, let's see if this works.

my wii has UK as country so i can use the shop.  nintendo doesn't want the money of the people of cyprus.

wish it was that simple with the ps3 as well.  only way around that is to get points cards

i'm convinced bro.  i will do it very soon.  still thinking about getting a new one to hack though.  we'll see

You know with all the hacking I have installed 2/3rd of the things needed to run Wii games from an USB loader. Once I have a new Wii and money, I will probably run all my games through an hard drive.

Why do you need a new Wii?  my reasoning is to get a new one to hack, so i can keep my launch wii unhacked since i've spent so much on it in virtual console games and wiiware.

 Broken disk drive and fried GPU (green dots). And the hard drive things is in the future. Might as well get my Wii fixed or buy a new one in the meantime. If the cost of repairs is too high I will buy a new Wii.
