Yes here, very busy not posting. Stop running clinics and start berating people.

That would be UpInFlames, he was indeed a moderator at Gamespot and currently he hangs around at Tony's place nowadays. He's a pretty swell guy and does have a sense of humor, but he's a bit dry and upfront about most things.

It's not even work what keeps me from posting, but heat and Dota.
robio said:Yeah I don't remember anyone anymore from Gamespot, aside from you guys. And to be honest I don't even remember all of you from there, at least not specific details.
I do remember some bitch who used to troll all of my blogs, but I'm pretty sure that's because she was a cunt. Other than that.... nope. Nothing.
I probably fall into the category of people you don't remember from GS. I lurked a lot more than I posted(not much has changed).
Anyone remember...hope I'm spelling this right...Talduras? He was an old school gamer, typically was a generation behind everyone else on the console front. Nice guy, was the original founder of the Virtual Underground at Gamespot if I am recalling correctly.
I don't remember Talduras.
I can't really remember many from Gamespot anymore because I quit when they changed the design and I was one level away from max level at Gamespot.
Last time I actually logged in on Gamespot I just did it so I could get an emblem for E3 if they did the emblems this year.
Yes that was the guy, UpInFlames, taken after the Manitoba album name. Yes, swell guy.
Now, Shameus Blackley was one of the coolest dudes there before and DURING being a mod.....then he stepped down and became a total bitter pompous political TOOL who acted superior to everyone. He totally changed.

Sit nude in a bath of cold water all day, with a laptop, not plugged in.
Question to everyone, do you feel you've changed in your online life since when you started to now?
In regards to what? Posting behavior/persona? Sites visited or what?

He seemed cool to me. But as a PC guy and non-Nintendo player we had too little in common. Nice guy to me though I don't remember him becoming a moderator but I left in '07. I also liked Skylock and Nopalversion as everyday without fail I would see them posting in my threads.

That.

Yeah...but that's just like anything else in life...you grow as you get older. When I first started posting on forums back in the day on my Dreamcast I thought it was hilarious to just go online and start shit with people who seemed like morons to me. LOL
Getting a kick out of that kind of stuff is long gone.

I was going to post the same thing. I'm a very different person than I was 15 years ago so inevitably I'm a very different online person as well...
Better, i'd like to think
I think I've become more like Gandalf in LOTR "Quick to laugh. Quick to anger"
I don't think I could cope on a large mainstream forum anymore. I'm tired of arguing and just want to chill in a place where you can disagree with people yet still respect each others position. In life I just want as little hassle as possible. I feel like an old bear.

Yo, I still post here from time to time. Will make a blog soon about animecon 2014. Shit was awesome!
On topic. Some peeps me and Foolz hang around
Veni-vidi-vichi: a smart girl that left because she had stuff to do.
SophinaK: lost contact with her
3111578 whatever his name was: dissapeard
That's why I like this place. Im tired off seeing the same boring arguments over why one system is a piece of crap and/or doing everything wrong. It's not wrong to criticize a gaming company, but criticizing the fans for liking things that you don't is borderline crazy and ridiculous. We all may have different tastes in gaming, but we are respectful of each other's gaming preferences.

Yep I know clue who you were. I know that I knew people here from there, but I can only really remember 2 people from the Gamespot days.
1. Leo - mainly from his "coming out" post where he made a thread entitled "sexy video game characters" and it was a bunch of dudes from Street Fighter.
2. Vader - because we discovered we both lived in South Florida at the time and he helped me sort out the "top 50 games of all time" list that we generated in the GS forum.
Were you Robio at GS or El Robio? I seem to remember a guy with that username.
You cock! I've been here all the time! D:
