It's like Zelensky part 2.
Why would anyone want to go to the white house these days? Either grovel at Trump's feet and glaze him.
Or have the white house equivalent of a WWE event.
My thoughts exactly. Once the Trump inflicted rejiging of the world order and economics has taken shape, I don't see many political leaders passing by anymore. While it's strange to say: lets hope the effects become visible during his term, or he'll just blame whoever becomes president after him for the mess he caused.
Like the 1st Trump term, the world will breathe a collective sigh of relief when he's gone. Unless JD Vance becomes president oh lord.
I can’t believe that it’s only been 4 months now with Trump as President. It already feels like it’s been forever and a day now.

Third term? I'm expecting his son to follow him up as the 48th president. By the time his second term is done they'll have instated a monarchy built on bad taste and coca cola.

Third term. The Third Term is going to be the-Thousand-Year-Term!
So what's the general love for Jews like in your area? People here seem to still be able to make the distinction between zionist israelites and Jews in general, although I'm hearing murmurings about how it'd be nice of local Jews would speak out against the cruelties in gaza instead of remaining quiet.
It's a far cry from how outspoken they are whenever their spidersense towards antisemitism goes off. Anything that reeks of commentary on Israel or Jews in general gets quickly pounced on and labeled antisemitic, often with swift legal action being undertaken. It's like they're the Nintendo of religions, minus the family friendly image.
Oh, there has been plenty of antisemitic vandalism in Australia...it's just that it was all done by organised crime, hired by to be determined international sources.
Since the latest onslaught I get some pretty intense stares whenever I'm walking around Malvern while sporting a potentially Arab beard, which I believe is an antisemitic symbol according to the ECAJ.
That being said, all the Jews I've actually known have never once complained about antisemitism (in Australia) to me, and complaining about racism has been a common bonding experience for me with people from all other non-white ethnic groups here.
No one will belive this, but there is no vandalism in my region. Also, noone speaks about politics, local or global. There are no synagoges or mosques in my region. No one here talks about religion either, except for the occasional Jehovah's Witness.
If there are any jews in hte region, I am not aware of them. There are some migrant workers from Sudan in the area, they might be muslims.
On TV I notice that in Melbourne there is more anti-semitism since the war began, but that's just on TV for me. The national newspaper has some editorals on it too.
Personally, I accept people of all faiths and nationalities on face value, though of course working with a lot of other countries I certainly can identify traits that are common to the various nationalities.

So basically you're saying you live in the late 1950's?

He lives in Queensland, so that's about right.
Actually quite a few heavily populated Jewish areas and schools.
I'm too afraid to watch jow bad it is.
