____________

PS: Let's hear it for rage-quitting!

Thank God I did exactly that! I was in the section of the Gallery where you had to fight 4 or 5 of those wall-crawlers one right after the other. I was having a tough, tough time, had used almost all of my 8 small Health Packs and TWO of my medium ones. I got so annoyed that they kept on getting me, that I turned my console off in a huff! It was then it dawned on me, they had a definite attack pattern --AND-- I totally forgot about Lock-On! I went back in a half-hour later, didn't get hit ONCE and saved all of those health packs!

Woo!

____________

Gallery Part was awesome.

Bar scene after was awesome.

Emily and York and the "birth of Zach" was awesome.

This game is awesome, awesome, awesome ! ! !

27 out of 50 Side-Missions Done!

Got the Radio from George!

Played a few older episodes to clear some missions I missed due to story events!

That Episode Select menu comes in verrry handy!  WinkWink

When I finish Deadly Premonition I believe it will mark the VERY FIRST Survival Horror game I have EVER beaten!  surprise

Vader will be so proud!

He'll be ecstatic to know I'm --ALSO-- planning on making RE4 Wii one of the next games I plan to play start to finish in the near future too!

^^ This can't be true.  First one ever, even after a decade and a half of RE?

I did beat RE4, but I don't call that survival horror -- that's a shooter.

Survival horror games no longer exist.

Except on the Wii.

It can be both, I guess. But I guess it's more of a third person shooter set in the Resident Evil world.

Didn't you beat Silent Hill Shattered Memories on the Wii or Origins for the PSP, Aspro? Or was that someone else?

Someone else. I have SHMM for PS2 and was derided for it, but I have not played it.  I'm not sure I'd call Deadly Premonition survival horror either... I guess it is.

I'm a big baby when it comes to horror.  When I was a kid I was left alone at home one night and I watched the Amityville Horror, and that was the last horror film I ever saw.  Then, many years later I tried Silent Hill 2 and it was too creepy.  Deadly Premonition is kind of a bridge for me, I can see now I can handle grisly stuff, so that's why I now want to play Condemned 1 +2 and also check out Alan Wake and similar types of games.

I've seen/heard enough to want to play Deadly Premonition.  Will get it when it's a few pounds cheaper.

And can I recommend Alan Wake ... again?

So my copy of Deadly Premonition came in, and all my thoughts about it being iffy flew away when York starting talking about the lack of bonus features on DVD's of 80's movies, before seguing into talk about his first video tape player to Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.

I haven't loved a character this much since Para Medic.

Yeah --BUT-- I knew from the first SECOND. I even posted as such in one of my first posts about the game.

I just jogged around town for 25 minutes with the fat-man and the dog, played the Emily section and the Clock Tower, then made my way to the Sheriff's Department where I saved the game.

Just got the key to the "Hidden Room" Profile clip and saved in that office.

I was only going to play for about a half hour. THAT turned into an hour and forty-five minutes. I HAD to stop. I need to get to sleep to be up around 5...

...as usual!
