The Mega Man Zero series are adventure games?! Really? No bosses to choose from, open worlds?

Are they good?

December 1st, 2006 was the first mention of Demon's Crest in my topic;

December 3rd, 2006 was the first mention of Wonder Boy 4...!

Even the Master System games like Golvellius were eventually mentioned, ESPECIALLY with the announcement of Master System being put on the VC!

Mega Man Zero games are pretty much just like the original Mega Man series.  You choose a boss to fight, run through his level, fight him, and get his weapon after you beat him.  You tend to revisit a lot of levels after you've beaten the boss though, because different weapons will allow you to explore different parts of the stages to find things like armor upgrades and extra enery tanks.  There's more of an adventure feel to them than the old standard Mega Man games, but not radically so.

The Zero series were like the original MM games. But the ones on the DS, which are the ZX series, I think they were more like Metrovania, which were more adventure.

Thanks for the replies.

I tried out the Aquaria demo, pretty damn cool. Its massive, I am about an hour and 20 minutes into it and I dont know where it will end.  The game starts off simple you are this fish woman and you swim around avoiding bad fish and the like. You have this ring of songs, when you play them in a certain order you use a power, like create a shield. You explore this huge underwater world, many areas seem blocked off, classic Metroid presentation. Soon you gain the power to move objects, this gives you access to more areas. Finally i get to this temple area where I find a power to transform into an energy form which allows me to shoot out fire balls. Finally the action kicks off and its great. You are swiming around a maze like underwater setting shooting fireballs at any enemies that come at you. The full game has many more forms to turn into. I am impressed.

There is an english-translated rom of the Monster World IV.

MWIV a great game, and should've been released worldwide.

In the absence of Steel let me be the first to say penis.

Children, our lives have been gongs striking; clamour and boasting; cries of despair; blows on the nape of the neck in gardens.

Holy Penis! Did someone just say Penis?! My Penis just did a Penisault when I heard that word! Ya' know...

Penis!

Oh wait!? It was that Penis Foolz that said Penis...? Not the usual Big Penis Steel that said Penis?!

Oh well, consulting with my Penis, it said it doesn't matter who said 'Penis' as long as 'Penis' was said!

On that note: Do we still have the 'Reference to Sexual Organs' counter thingee...? 'Cause if we do, the number of times I just said 'Penis' is going to drive it absolutely 'Nuts!'

Hey! I just said 'Nuts!' Does that count?!

Anyway, I officially declare Sunday, August 23 to be PENIS DAY!

Yay!

Happy Penis Day everyone!

...

...

PENIS!

Hey! Put that away Penis-head!

We already have one baby-Travo...! I don't think the world is ready for another one yet!

Besides, you're gonna get Steel all excited with it hangin' out like that!

OMG...!

If this graphical representation is anywhere near accurate, Travo's Penis is approximately half the length of the average VG Press member's height!

Travo has a Three-foot Penis!

Holy Penis Batman!
