Some of those thing seem more like sightseeing than actually doing something, like finding all postman locations in TP. how would you know you found it all without a guide. If the game catalogs it I get it for the most part.

Still counts dammit. Plus the postman are easy to find. And for some parts you need a guide.  If you miss one piece of heart in OoT you really need a guide. Unless you want to look through the whole game again. Same is true about the Poe Souls in TP. I usually try to find everything myself and then use guides to see what I missed.

I NEVER use guides. Unless I really really get stuck, which lately no Zelda game has done to me.

I use guides to 100% the game. I never get stuck in Zelda games. Well I do get stuck, but I unstuck myself.

How is Okimiden? Is it like a watered down Okami?

Did you take the masks to the forest stage in lost woods?

There are some surprises there if you do!

I took two masks, the first one they tried to annihilate me.

Orcarina of time 100% means getting all hart piece, finding all the golden skulltulas, getting all the masks, getting the quiver upgrades, getting the slingshot upgrades, getting the deku stick upgrades, getting the deku nuts upgrade, getting the bomb upgrade, finding all the great fairies, getting the big goron sword, finding all treasure chests, getting epona, getting ice arrows, learning the scarecrow song, catching the loach, finding the sinking lure, finding all the hidden holes, finding all the bottles and killing the skull kid so you can avenge for what he is going to do in Majora's Mask.

I did all of this on N64 except for the fishing, I haaaaate the fishing in this game. Now, I am 4 heart pieces away from 100% health but two of those require fishing and the golden scale.

I am missing one bean spot, I have one bean left over and I don't know where to put it. Also, those fucking frogs and their bug catching game, that was a pain in the ass. I wrote down a lot of it, if anyone needs any help. I did the desert temple I have my mirror shield. I just need to beat that runner in his race, beat Dampe in his race and then go for Ganon.

Do you mean the wandering marathon man that later becomes the postman in Majora's Mask? The one you sell the bunny hood to when you are younger? The one who challenges you to race from Gerudo Valley to Kokiri Forest? There is a secret you must know!

Finding all cows you mean? Done that. Snagging his cap and seeing his bald head ditto.

On Okamiden, I am on a phone at the moment so I will explain more later but yes it is a watered down version. It's also the MGS of Zelda games, so many long cutscenes. All text that you cannot speed up. Puzzles are so simplistic and combat feels like a chore. I will elaborate much more later.

Nope. Don't care about finding all the cows. After you get Epona and escape from the ranch, go back and talk to Malon. If you finish the "obstacle course" in less than 50 seconds, you'll get a dairy cow delivered to your house in the forest.

Okami is a wonderful game, but I'm not really excited about Okamiden at all. My feelings about it are similar to the ones I have about the DS Zeldas: It just doesn't live up to the rest of the series (I have Spirit Tracks, so I've at least tried the formula). I'm not a big handheld gamer in the first place. Okamiden is extremely low on my list of wanted games.

Oh shit I forgot about that one. Yeah did that one too! Man Zelda games are packed. Really need to replay Majora. I only finished it once.

At least the DS Zeldas try something very different. They still ended up as interesting great games to play. This feels like Okami babies. What posses me off is that it has awesome new gameplay mechanics that are never fully explored.

So Vader, you are saying that Okamiden is a watered down watered down zelda clone?
