Damn music is still the same. Its such a damn tease, I have always hated this damn song. It starts off just like the theme, Da da dadaDA and then it goes into something else!!! GRRRAAAHAGH! It still pisses me off to this day.
I know the Iwata asks may disagree with me, but some of the later music does sound a bit rearranged - especially after you become an adult. I agree about the graphics, it's wholesale improved, looks really nice. Call me a sucker but I would buy more N64 ports if they were done like this - except Starfox. Shame that Rare has the rights to most of the other good N64 games. I think Grezzo could legally do:
- Super Mario 64
- Majora's Mask
- F-Zero
- Donkey Kong 64
Personally, I would want a DK64 on 3DS. Miyamoto is hinting at a 3D Link to the Past which like a sucker I would buy.

Yeah I know, you can't play SD consoles on HDTVs. I finally broke down and just bought a 2nd hand SD set on ebay. It's worth it and you can get them dirt cheap - like price of a hamburger cheap if you are willing to pick them out. I've hooked up all my old consoles and I'm loving it.
So I am at the Forest temple now. The game got seriously good again once I turned into an adult and that Sheikah music kicked in.
Just a tip, if you hold down L you can move the 3DS around to look around the environment without having to go into first person. It's very cool, try it.

Have it taped, will see it later today. I hope it was good.
Just got to the water temple boss.
The water temple has new markings and some neon lines, but really, it's the same ball buster as it was before but with toggled touch screen iron boots I didn't find it too hard but I am a veteren.
Fire temple was very hectic in comparison, a lot more action orientated. Fun stuff.
Lets talk new Zelda for 3DS. We see what this baby can do. It can handle OoT with way superior graphics. If we don't get a true OoT style Zelda game on the 3DS I will be pissed. I do know that PH glass style will not happen because there is no way in hell Nintendo will release a Zelda game where you watch the game on the touch screen without 3D. So HA! No more PH crap. It will control with the stick, it will be on the top screen and it better be a traditional Zelda game.
I say Majora's Mask part 2. With WW graphics.

I love PH and ST
Let's hope that at least it will be Toon Link
I actually just started Spirit Tracks yesterday and just finished up the Snow Temple this morning. Love it. Absolutely love it. I like it when Zelda games are handled tongue in cheek like this. They feel more like Link's Awakening, and that's a good thing.
Just wanted to mention that this game has some rearranged music tracks, you can hear the difference in some locations and its great. Suprised by the 3DS surround speaker quality too, normally if I want to hear the music properly in a portable game I plug in headphones, I don't need to here.

We will never see an original handheld zelda made to the scale of home console zeldas like Ocarina or Twilight Princess. Simply it wouldn't be feasible, by the time you put the effort into making one you might have well as made a console game. Miyamoto has hinted at Link to the Past 3D, I could see that happening.
I think Nintendo screwed themselves by allowing Flagship to be dissolved, they should have snapped them up and continued to make top down zelda games in LTTP style, only now in 3D. That is what I think would happen.
Or something like Mario 3DS - it seems very small scale compared to galaxy, maybe they would do a dense, smaller zelda packed with more things to do in smaller environments.

I just ordered this. The only Zelda game I've never played.

Yeah I held off on it for a while. The train thing just seemed like a stretch, but I have to admit it's actually kind cool. Controls for it are simple and there's plenty of things to do and look for while you're traveling the rails. I also like the throwback mentions to Phantom Hourglass. They're subtle, but they're there.

Fixed that for you chief! Majora has no business looking like Windwaker like melon heads.

I think it would look cool and would look great on the 3DS.

Wrong. This would look so much cooler.
Just look at it. Can you imagine this art style on the 3DS or Wii U? So much better than Windwaker.
That is awesome^
I just got the eye of truth from the well. Harder than I remember but very cool item and new mechanics. I just realised that its essentially a metroid prime like visor, only years before Metroid Prime. EAD are the shit.
Why don't we try listing all the innovations in this game?
I'll start:
1. Day and Night time system
He gave it 17 minutes! That's a long time when you are sober.
