Spyro and Crash Bandicoot, okay. (They are awesome, though.)

But Oddworld? Fail if you think that's shit. Never play Stranger's Wrath again. You don't deserve to!

A friend of mine bought Abe's Odyssey and Exodus on PSN.  I need to get him over here to download them for me for free like he did with some other games.  I've always wanted to play them, I actually bought them on steam years ago but I end up never playing the pc games I buy

Did anyone ever play Glover on the N64?  My mother kept seeing the advertisements everywhere and bought me the game for Christmas.

You said N64 platformer generation so I assumed you were talking about PS1 Oddworld games. Nyaa

I have Strangers Wrath, it's more a FPS coupled with a platformer.

Abe's Odyssey was superb. More puzzle than platforming really. I didn't like the sequels as much.

And Stranger's Wrath is coming to the PS3 of all consoles, and ironically not to the 360. Can't wait to finally get my hands on it.  It was the only Oddworld game I ever found entertaining.

File size restrictions on XBL I hear.

It's a good game, got good reviews. I gave up on it half way as it got a bit repetitive.

Wow you really tried that?  Thanks.

I hear sometimes you have to download some update or other.  Could it be because you keep your consoles offline, or would it tell you if there was something to download?

I have a bunch of old xbox games (though most got stolen with the console itself), I would hope that at least some would work on the 360 when i get one

I think the first couple are on Steam, but they probably look ugly if you can't run them in a window (I think you can, but don't quote me on that, I also don't know how well/if they support gamepads, keyboard controls would be messy). They should still be pretty in the native resolution/window size, since they were all pre-rendered with really great art direction and fluid character animation. Basically Donkey Kong Country for the 32bit era, visually.

Edit: they have demos that you can try and see if they run in a window, and if they work with gamepads.
