Burnout. I loved 2, then by the time 3 hit it was hip to have the game's language settings be dictated by your hardware. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's games that are translated to my native tongue. After 25 years of gaming in English, it just seems wrong.
- Halo, I can only take so much repitition.
- Mass Effect, Bioware suck. Bethesda FTW!
- COD I can only take so much repitition.
- ACreed I can only take so much repitition.
There's more, but I can't recall at the moment.
Paper Mario, Mario RPGs in general, portable too but if an awesome new one is shown who knows?
Hmm. I can't really think of any off-hand. All the game franchises that I've I still love. There are some that are dormant like say Contra for instance but if a new game were to ever come for them I'd most likely still be very interested in it.
Resident Evil.
I've owned RE6 for a year or something and not opened the box.

That's a good one. 4 and 5 were biblical to me, but I got about a third of the way through 6 and now I just don't give a shit.

Elder Scrolls: Thanks Oblivion.
Fallout and Fallout New Vegas brought me back into the fold.
But was Oblivion really that bad? I enjoyed it enough. Granted, I essentially speed-ran it, as I do all Bethesda WRPGs, but still it was enjoyable enough.

That's because Resident Evil 6 sucks balls.
Ok...I have one. Perfect Dark.
I mean if they were to suddenly make a badass new game that would be great....but considering the last one was in 2005 and not really even close to what it should have been, I really just don't care anymore. Back in 2000, Perfect Dark/Goldeneye as a franchise were one of my Top 10.

It was a good game (I still played it for 120 hours), but Oblivion was one of my most anticipated games of last gen; Skyrim I couldn't bring myself to download on a whim after my cousin bought it.
Final Fantasy. It once meant the world to me. I'd buy just about anything with Final Fantasy in it. I once accidentally read an hours worth of Final Fantasy fanfic just because I was so willing to gobble up anything Final Fantasy related. But Final Fantasy X was the kiss of death for me. I hate that game. I hate just about everything about it. The lack of exploration, the cliched characters, the voice overs, and Wakka.... the single worst character in the history of gaming. I forced myself to play it, but finally quit with about 2 hours of game left, and since then I've never touched any of the next installments (barring a play of the FF 13-3 demo). Japanese melodrama just doesn't do it for me anymore.
Personally I played one harvest moon, and that was enough. It seems that I can enjoy life simulators, but only once per franchise. Same for Animal Crossing. I played the GC version, which, after having seen my wife play many other versions, seems like the best entry in the series to me.

I crossed the line with Animal Crossing. I was all in on the Gamecube and DS, and frankly I went too far with it. And now, perhaps as a result, I want nothing more to do with it ever, ever again.
Same with high alcohol stout beer, Bundaberg Rum and malt liquor. (Individually, not as a mixed drink).
Saint's Row. I ate the first three, and they each got better than the last, but 4 killed it for me. It was an expansion that was stretched into a game. A very poorly paced game.
Rush. I loved every iteration, but LA Rush killed it (and damn it I tried, on both XB and PSP). Now I just could not care.
