So I was marshalling my cat while he took a dump in the backyard in the middle of the night and I had a torch. So I started moving the light over the back of the house because the effect reminded me of Silent Hill Shattered Memories. Also I was driving yesterday and saw this car sized path into a public park and I had the GTA like urge to just drive through it and off road in the park. So what times has your reality merged with your gaming life?

Whenever I see a beautifull woman I stand 2 feet in front of her and just stare at her boobs for an uncomfortably long time.  I mean, they're just NPC's, why else are they there but to oogle at?

(in light of Bugsy's recent resurgence and clear disdain for mysoginy, I would like to point out that this was merely in jest.  I don't stare at NPC's boobs, but rather I respect them as equels)

I respect them as equals also, unless one is bigger then the other for some reason. Nyaa

When you schedule a day off work for a major launch title.

I can't go out this weekend because a new game is launching.

I can honnestly say that I have never taken a day off just to play a game, nor moved over other social activities for it.  What I will do however, is make a small detout and stop by a store to pick up a new game on launch day inbetween appointments.

You play a game for way too long and then have dreams about it.

When your patient's granddaughter comes into the exam room with a switch and you ask her what she is playing and she says "zelda dlc" and you ask "what part" and she says "the darunua quest" and you say "yeah I did that last night"

Go a step further and have game-related hallucinations, and complete the tetris effect.

It always throws people off when they are talking about games for their kids and I drop a casual deep comment in.

Mom at Work: Yeah, I have to get Mario Kart for my boy at xmas, he won't shut up about it.

Me: I think he'll enjoy the switch version even if he's played out the Wii U one.

Mom: (Confused, obviously doesn't know what I am saying) Uh, this is for his 3DS thing.

Me: (Suppressing a face of shock and horror) Oh... oh. Okay, well, that's a good game too.
