I just pre-ordered the PS4 at GS. They had 25 of them for pre-order, I was the 7th person to get one.  Asked about MS pre-orders and they said they only got 5 Xbox One's for pre-order. They sold out of the 5 in hours. I assume that will change but still a low number. Possible supply shortage for MS?

GAF says they have eSRAM yield problems.

If £350 got me a PS4 + a game thrown in I might bite. What about PSMove is it not bundled? It comes with the camera or bar though?

What do you require for Move to work?

If it was only £50 cheaper it would be soooo tempting.

I'm getting Pikmin 3, Mario plus Rayman, Splinter Cell, Watchdogs, Scribblenauts, maybe Marvel Super Heroes, Arkham Origins, Wind Waker, Deus Ex so I am set till at least early summer next year. That's when I would start eyeing PS4 realistically. And then I have 3DS games to play or get. I haven't even got a couple of missions into Fire Emblem and I don't even want to buy Animal Crossing in the near future but I have to with this SO many games promo in Europe to get my free game.

And I still haven't started Skyrim. LOL

No camera with PS4. For new move I think new camera is needed. The controller works though.

I don't understand, PS4 comes with a sensor bar camera thing right? So if you buy move it should work with that? Is PS3 move compatible with PS4?

GG, Driveclub is available for free at launch. I think they might have mentioned that a few other games were free as well.

Edit: can't find anything more about this after hearing that, so maybe not. Blacklight?

No, it does not come with a camera. That is sold separately. Yes PS Move controller is compatable with PS4 but the eyetoy needed for PS3 move is not. So you need the new eyetoy to play with the move controller.

Meh to that game. I'm guessing you need a paid monthly membership thing?

Then wtf is the sensor bar for? Just to work with the little blue light on the ps4 controller?

Presumably you'd have to pay for the online.

Do not want that.

Do you get to keep PS Plus games forever or do you lose access once you cancel your subscription?

Ah, I thought so. So it's kinda of like having a netflix account. Good value nonetheless but I wish you could keep them. Maybe it encourages people to try and buy games, I know renting dvds gets me to buy ones I like.

I need to preorder but I don't know if I can in my area.

My favorite thing shown at the Sony Press Conference was The Order: 1886.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)

You generally have long enough to finish a game.  Longer than you would have it if you rented it.  It's good for people who play games then trade them in, except they never put the very latest games so it's not good for someone who wants games day one.  The discount on PSN games is usually too small to make it significant.

Was there any gameplay footage of The Order?

No I just loved the concept and the developers are good at what they have made.

If you buy a game through a Plus sale you get to keep it.  But the free stuff you cant access if you are not plus.

Yeah it's great, great value. But I like owning games and keeping them. I don't like subscriptions to anything really, no mobile phone contracts etc. Only thing I have regular payments on is the internet and neccessities. I want to keep my games.

I liked the concept, but I liked the Grinder concept too. What I wanted was gameplay footage. We saw all these in engine experiences at these conferences, or CGI showreels by Ubisoft. I just wanted to see some gameplay. But not too much, it can drag on with the on stage demos.

So the sales are only for paying subscribers?
