I already have a big ol' sack of DSes but I'm waiting with great anticipation for the DSi XL. Number one because I want a DSi, but just cannot justify it.  Two, I want a bigger screen and bigger form factor so that It is easier to hold.

Nintendo Power published a life-size image of the DSi XL, and I'm saddened to see that the button size and layout are identical to a DSLite (my thumbprint smothers all four buttons easily).  Even so the big screen is a draw for me (no pun intended).  How about y'all?

I am on my third DS (had the original, lite, now DSi) and I'm plenty happy with the DSi.  I don't really need it larger.  I might have to get a DSi XL stylus though, if the one in the picture is the official stylus.

I only recently got the DS, so I've got some catching up to do before I make it ot the DSi XL!
I should probably be considering picture in about six years time.

I want one. My DS Lite broke a long time ago, but I still have a nice collection of DS games that I can't play. Considering how I'd rarely, if ever, use it outside my house, I may as well get a DS with the largest screens available. The only thing holding me back on it might be the price. If it's under $200, I'll likely get one, though.

That is what it launched with in Japan.

You played Rocket Slime yet? If so, then... do so.

That's the tricky part. I'm going to get an Aussie one, so I don;t have to deal with a scale-down power converter, and I'm thinking it may even go for $299 here, maybe $249 (AU$ is roughly 90% of USD).

In the states, I have no idea where they will go with it. It it is a limited release, ala GBA Micro, then maybe it will creep into that $249 region.

I do suspect that the XL is going to be a Micro type distribution.

^ Damn, that reminds me. I still need a GBA. Hmm, that Micro does look nice.

I'll definitely consider it when I've played through Hotel Dusk and Locke's Quset!

Lock's Quest is a game I completely respect. I was amazed by it, but it's fairly complicated.  I should probably give it another try.

Oh definitely. I was playing it for awhile, then stopped to play more FIFA (Nyaa) and now that I've come back to it i have no idea what I'm doing, and should probably just start again.

My DSi is starting to show some wear now that the 3 year old sort of claimed it as his own.  I may get one, but it will depend on price. Plus it also depends on if there's a price cut on the DSi I may just get another one because I really do like the way it feels.  The weight of it is just perfect for a handheld.

I like the ideas of large screens but isn't a larger size and weight going to make it cumbersome for long play times?

I was not interested in getting a DSi for any reason, but I can see them stepping up the DSiWare over time.

I'm also waiting for a game to take advantage of the camera.  When Heather Campbell was interviewing ...some dude... she mentioned a part of a DSi game where you would use the DSi to find ghosts in your house, which I thought would be awesome for a Siren type game. Or pattern recognition.

Didn't Shiggy say he liked scavenger hunts? I'd expect that to pop up as a game sooner or later, kind of a scribblenauts game where you can take a picture of a fridge and a cartoon fridge appears in the game.

Good God that DS is huge.

And no, I won't be getting one. I like my DS Lite. And it still works.

I'll be picking one up. I've been meaning to upgrade to a DSi anyways so I may as well get one with bigger screens.

I still have a DS phat. Sad

I can't justify getting a new DS when I have one that works fine. So yeah, no big DS for me even though it looks awesome. BTW if any of you guys trade away your old DS lites or whatever please consider me, I am willing to pay like $30 for a used DS lite, as long as it is in good condition.

Hell LOL I would love to see Vader asking for a car. As long as it's $100 and in good working order, please consider me for your Mercedes.
