Easy on the PKs, GG. Haven't you seen House? Do you swim? Swimming does wonders to improve your back strenght.
I have myopia too. Use glasses. Used to use contacts but not anymore. I'm thinking of surgery as of lately, but haven't decided yet.
And migraines. Nasty ones that can last for a day or two, with the whole constellation of symptoms, photophobia, phonophobia, nausea, vomit. I haven't had a good one for a while, though. *knocks wood*
Asthma: steroids and ventolin.
ME: rest.
FM: exercise.
Those latter two are a great combination to have.

Dont watch house. What are the problems apart from blood thinning and internal bleeding, stomach ulcers and stomach bleeding etc?
I dont swim, its expensive.
I've been doing this, for 5 days but I'm still in pain.

I seem to spend an hour in bed before sleeping strapped to the TENS machine.
How is swimming expensive? Don't you guys have pools or something? Is it more expensive than TENS sessions?

Hehehe, sorry. Can't help myself sometimes.
SteelAttack said:You can develop PK addiction. Although if you stick to NSAIDs (non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs) then the chances of that happening are zero. The problem is, if the pain does not improve with first line pain therapy, it's very much likely the physician will prescribe opioid drugs to move up the analgesic ladder. What are you currently using for pain relief? Basically, you'd want to stick to newer Cox-2 agents which are less prone to cause gastrointestinal complications such as the ones you mentioned, and if you are already using opioids, ask for the longer acting ones. I was partly joking about the addiction bit, though; development of true addiction is a process that involves many, many factors.

I use ibuprofen mainly. Aspirin tends to upset my gut.
I have my own TENS machine from a pharmacy so I dont have to pay for it. Pool sessions are like £5 an hour here and I would have to do it several times a week to get any benefit.
That's like buying a game every two weeks.

Oh, you have your own machine. You rich bastard. And why the fuck are pool sessions so damn expensive over there? Do they fill the pools with seraphim pee? I still believe you would make some progress with 2 swimming sessions a week, cheapass bastard. Do they charge for swimming in the Thames?
Ibuprofen's alright, provided it does help you.

What kind of doctor are you! Swimming in the Thames Might as well swim in the cooling water of Chernobyl's reactor!

I was thinking about that Seinfeld episode where Kramer swims in the Hudson river and even though he smells like shit, he gathers a sizeable amount of followers.
Besides, considering GG's a cheapass who won't pay, the Thames is fine for him.

I just realized that the cause of my headaches is the massive size of my phallus. Having so much blood diverted from the major circulation towards my wang is detrimental for my CBF.

TENS machines are cheap, less than a game and I got one half price.

Or maybe its my wang slapping against your forehead 6 hrs a day which does it?
Medical Problem: Sinful thoughts.
Treatment: Trying bloodletting, for now.
Listen to Iced Earth and play Doom
I've started having bad back pains.
I seem to be taking painkillers alot, using a TENS machine which is a device which sends out electrical impulses to block pain receptors. Using painkilling gels and doing back excercises.
