Once you're level 10 you can enter ranked matches and start leveling gear fast. The amount of point syou get for winning ranked matches is insane.
Man, jumping back into matches with level 50s is no fun.
At first my team won 6 matches in a row with me as the high scorer. From then it was all downhill and we got massacred.
It was like the other team could read all our moves and there was some lag advantage too. This guy initiated a kraken on top of a wall I was on, I squidded off the wall and he was about a meter and a half away from me, never touched me and somehow he splatted me?

I haven't touched ranked since reaching A+, I'm afraid of the drop. I need to be really on the ball to aim for S class.

I have a simple rule: if I lose 2 consecutive matches, I quit and go play turf wars.

That's not how it works, you HAVE to keep playing till you win at least win one match. Then quit.

That philosophy is how I dropped 16 matches in a row.
I prefer my philosophy. It keeps me from huffing myself up every time I play.

We used to meet on Animal Crossing.
GG are you going to buy Amiibo Festival?
What is Amiibo Festival? Is it an actual AC game or just an excuse to release the AC line of Amiibos? (Which I'm really rempted by)

I wouldn't buy the game for the game (it's a poorly reviewed board game) but I might pick it up simply because it comes with two adorable amiibo. If the price slips below £25 might be worth it.
I like the look of all the Animal Crossing amiibos (I think I counted about 8 of them? and can't seem to find any for the villager/ess not even from the Smash series of amiibos) but I don't know if I want to pay 150 euros for a collection of plastic toys, however nice they are and however much I love the Animal Crossing world. Still tempted though.
Love the Mahi map, great large map, lots of different platforms, chance of death, you can travel all the way up to the enemy spawn point. Not sure about the point when more places get raised above the water, makes more sense to have places sink and things getting more tense.
It's not that I haven't played it by choice, I just have very little free time for the moment. The run up to the christmas holiday is always very, very busy professionally.

Just yell in your bosses face: SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLA-SPLATOON!

I don't have a boss. I have clients that I need to keep happy in hopes that when all is done they'll deem me worthy of being paid the pittance I ask for my toil.
But I do get to sing the splatoon song annoyingly loud all day when I'm at my office.
Yell it in your clients faces whilst pointing to their cheque books.
I had a good run through some single player levels. I'm amazed at the quality and variety. It really is a lot of fun and I certainly see the similarities to Mario Galaxy. I'm currently at level 9 and having to take turns with my son to play this.
