NOW I have to get this game. So Ring of Fates disappointed you? How so? I enjoyed it, suprisingly. It reminded me of LTTP combat, just cheery hack and slash with a few RPG aspects and superb visuals.
FOR GOD'S SAKE JUST PLAY TWEWY!
No other game made better use of the system it was on than it. It uses DUAL SCREENS during gameplay at the same time. It uses all of the tactile inputs of the TOUCH SCREEN. Tap. Draw. Circle. Drag. Scribble. Touch and Hold. You name it, it uses it. It uses the MICROPHONE. It uses the WIRELESS CONNECTION. It even uses the freakin' SLEEP MODE in creative ways in the game!?
It has incredibly addictive gameplay, collecting all the pins and customizing your character as you see fit. The graphics and art are stylized and unique in a "Japanophile Graffiti-esque" kind of way. It has one of the best soundtracks in a game EVER, rivaling Jet Set Radio and LBP quite easily... It has a deep and profound storyline, should you choose to seek out the SECRET REPORTS after the game ends. It's addictive, emotional, brilliantly creative... and best of all PORTABLE. You can take this game with you anywhere you want to go, ALWAYS have something to play and do, play it in the middle of a crowd and be PROUD of the fact you have such impeccible gaming taste!
It is as CLOSE to a PERFECT GAME as I have seen in decades! As good as the games have been this year, this was simply THAT MUCH BETTER. No other game can make as many claims as this one and is as deserved as GOTY for me as The World Ends With You! For now and for ever, to pass Gamer 101 and be qualified as a true "GAMER" this is the one and only prerequisite. Play it or be a "casual" the rest of your gaming existence.

Does it work in reverse? Am i a true 'gamer' for having played TWEWY even if i played a pathetically small number of games this year and even though i have yet to play a lot of traditional golden standards?
For me TWEWY will go probably go down as the first truly post-modern videogame ... even more so than killer7, NMH or MGS

Yep. Still haven't finished Mario Galaxy! Playin' one Star at a time since last October. With the exception of a handful of Virtual Console and WiiWare games, it's all I have for the Wii (!?) so I am realllly stretching this one out to last a while!
Got world of goo. I was wondering what the fuss was about until my structure suddenly dipped under the weight of its own physics. 
Cool stuff, I like toying around with it. It's not as freeform as I thought in its structure building. The little white lines are restricted as to where you can put them.
hope they release a whole bunch of levels before long ... and/or maybe even an editor. not that i would create a level but i sure would love to have user created content for a game such as WoG
