You can clearly see it when he switches to the sword
P.S. houses get destroyed
Why, why are you guys excited for this?
It looks like a Dynasty Warriors game but with giants.
Slowly, I'm moving the cursor to the hide button....

Oh nice, you can see it tracks the position of the remote and doesn't lose the signal when you point off screen. You can essentially slash like a sword.

I'm more impressed with that guy's HDTV. Wii actually looks good on it!

Ah.
Oh, after watching the video, it doesn't have the number of enemies that a DW titles usually has. There's still hope for your swollen joints, after all.

It is not Dynasty Warriors type! What the hell gave you guys that idea? And in training I had to swing a wooden sword for an hour, but that build upper body muscles and character. Fucking pussy.
SteelAttack said:I have another wooden sword you can swing. Right here.
The time isn't right, but at some point I need to explain the difference between swords and toothpicks. They're very different sizes and you seem to be confusing the two.

Hmm, you confuse me. Last night you said you never saw so impressive a chunk of meat. Now it's a toothpick?

I was referring to the steak that you used to bribe me into your quarters. I'm a complete beef whore. Let's see the jokes start to fly on that one.

Can you show me an example of a regular sort of bad wii hdtv lcd image? i'm wondering if my tv is decent or if I have very low standards. i suspect the latter. That guy's tv looks normal to me.

Plus the guys barely swinging it at all.

I've never been so happy to say I'm a vegetarian before.

You guys actually watch any of the control videos?
This is no Dynasty warriors. You dont walk up to 30 bad guys and press a button and watch them all suddenly drop. You are using IR here to slash specific body parts and destroy scenary. When you're not doing that you are using IR to aim arrows and magical staffs.

I've discovered that the Wii looks much better on an HDTV in 4:3 mode. A few guys on GAF vouched for it too. When you set your HDTV to widescreen its just stretching the same amount of pixels across a larger screen.
But there's a problem in that some wii games on a 4:3 TV display with black borders top and bottom. Setting your wii to 16:9 then setting your TV to 4:3 gives you the same sharper picture, but will a full length (vertical) screen.
Check the Wii HDTV there here.

Well, here's how I've understood it.
The wii exports a 4:3, 480p anamorphic image when you are using widescreen enabled titles(which for boxed wii titles is nearly all of them).
Since it's 480p, it doesn't have enough resolution for hd widescreen. If the wii was set to 4:3 and the tv 4:3 that would be the best looking it could get.
Since it exports an anamorphic image, the image is horizontally squeezed to fit into a 4:3 aspect ratio. The tv re-expands it horizontally to fill the screen but you lose the horizontal dpi in the process so the image is a little less sharp.
If you set the wii to 16:9 and the tv to 4:3 (for widescreen capable titles) your image will be distorted. If the wii dashboard buttons look oval - your screen is distorted.
