You understand these things better than I do, though all I can say is that Shu Lien's voice sounded very much her own and exactly like it did in the first film except fifteen years older.

I have also seen instances where the same actor dubs over his own voice in Mandarin LOL.

I want to see this movie.

Watched Sword of Destiny tonight with a friend.  It's nowhere near as good as the original Crouching Tiger but it's well made, nicely choreographed, fun and relaxing to watch.  Made me realise I missed this kind of wuxia films.

Shockingly, the film was made in English; turn the subtitles on and cringe when you read ‘shouts in foreign language’ in regards to the Mandarin-speaking background extras. This is a massive shame, because if a different, less serious director was at the helm, the cheesy effects, artificial sets and costumes, awful lines of dialogue and slapstick could have played like a fun but throwaway homage to the martial arts films of yore.

On the final few episodes of Breaking Bad.

Am I alone on this or is Jesse just an annoying whiny cunt?

Add Marie to the annoying cunt list.

Annoying cunt lord is Walt's son though. But yeah Jesse comes a close second. Marie and Skylar neck to neck for third.

Yeah am I right? Jesus these whining shits are so annoying. Am I the only one vying for the bad guys near the end of this? There's just too much stupidity going on with the suppossed 'good' guys to care. I kinda like Uncle Jack and dead eyed nephew guy in comparison.

Walter White is a terrible disgusting human being who ruined the lives of every person he interacted with. Yes some of those people were annoying but it's still all because he is an ego maniac shithead.

He's one of the few likeable characters in the show. Even if he is a stubborn, borderline moronic shithead at times.

Skylar and Jesse are un-fuckingbelievable though. What hypocritical nonsense, they keep doing bad shit or enabling it and then start whining about it when things get rough.

Hank's the only person who comes out of the show with any kind of respect.

Saw The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Sorta. I was playing XCX on the gamepad at the same time. The movie looks stunning, every frame could be a photobook. The production design is awesome. But yeah.... Wes Anderson movies. Yet another one I do not get.

The person watching it with me said "So many famous actors, but I have no idea what's going on". I felt the same. I will not be watching more Wes movies.

Would it help put it in context a little bit if you knew that the person who wrote the book on which the movie was based took his own life because he so feared that the Nazis would take over the world?

I find it sad that you didn't get it.

Yeah Hank is legit, Mike as well. They're at least consistent in what they do and think. Cunt troupe on the other hand, like GG said, is just annoying and whiny as fuck. Walter's capital sin is not that he is terrible as a person, which he is, it's that he's fucking stupid. He has so many chances during the show to bail out with a nice wad of money and yet he keeps finding ways of fucking it up for himself and the people around him.

What's wrong steel, you didn't know that when you go through a. Black hole you end up in your child's bookcase? I'm pretty sure that's what Hawkins book is about.

It wouldn't help.

I have a bad second screening habit these days where I am either using my phone or the Wii U whilst watching a movie/tv show at the same time. So I wasn't really following the story anyway.

Absolutely agree. Jesse too, just needs to chill and walk away with his millions.

Good movie but at the end when he said the Aliens had created this massive intersterllar black hole time paradox to just look inside a little girls bedroom.... LOL

Saw Mad Max Fury Road, there were bits I liked and disliked. What's with Hardy's Bane voice FFS? And he must have about six lines in the whole movie. The endless chase with no exposition got really weary after an hour. Also didn't like the superiority of beautiful people, bad disformed people are evil or peasants and the women=good men=bad message. It's like a noughties advertising cliche. But the world, energy etc would have been great for a Fist of the North Star movie.

There is a strong feminist theme.  So it's more women are sexy and beautiful and good (and Max is alright for helping them) and men are evil.  Also, chase scenes are everything.  I love it and wish I could still watch it on a massive screen with huge surround sound.

In other news ... House of Cards (US) has become available on Netflix.  Been watching back2back.  I love it.

Just read Freakwave instead, GG. Same thing, but a million times cooler:

P.S. Fury Road was still cool, though.
