Isn't that like the entire second half of the movie (the first half being the chase there)?
^Yes.
Fury Road=shitty intro; cool, long arse chase; shitty interlude in which Mad Max makes Furiosa look like a dumbarse; cool, long arse chase; shitty ending post-chase.
Chases are the only two things that matter, though.
I love how much it looks like Freakwave, which made perfect sense when I saw who co-wrote it.
I got to see an early screening of 13 hours, the Benghazi Michael bay movie. If you are a fan of bay movies you will be sucked in. If you always hated his movies, this is the same thing. Expect lines like "you don't give orders anymore, you take them! You are in my world now!" Character moments are basically *guy looks at photo, flashback to him and his daughter playing in a tree house* boom character development. And if you are looking for any info on what happened that night, you will get nothing, I have no clue what happened.
What you will get is two hours of shooting, explosions and badass America fuck yeah moments. I enjoyed it.

Does it have anything at all to do with the book?

It's based on the book, no clue if it's a good adaptation.

The people that wrote the book and people that were actually there are involved with the production of the movie.
They've seen it and said it is faithful to what actually happened.

This movie would be so much better if this was a musical.
Watching Peaky Blinders on Netflix. About an organised crime gang in Birmingham in the period after WWI. First episode is a bit slow but then really comes into its own. Loving it now. Cillian Murphy is awesome as the mob boss and Sam Neil a revelation as a ruthless copper from Belfast.
I saw the Jessica Jones actress on Breaking Bad.
She used to be hot.
Yeah, she was pretty smoking on that show. Are far into the show are you?

Just finished the episode where the meth addicts try to crack open an atm. S2 episode 5ish?
I just finished it myself. That final chase was amazing.
