Saw The Hateful Eight in 70mm, great movie but that is a given for Tarantino. It’s not one of his best simply cause this movie is very simple. It’s 3 hours for no reason except to be 3 hours, it’s a movie that easily could have been an hour and a half.
It takes place in basically one location with a cast of like 10 people. It feels like a play on the big screen. The performances are great, dialogue is great, it’s a beautiful movie. It is a very slow burn but that last hour is fantastic. Sam Jackson is always at his best when he is with Tarantino and this is once again a super memorable performance. But the stand out is Walton Goggins who I would give a supporting actor nom. This movie could have used some Waltz.
So if you like Tarantino go, if not then it’s not worth it in theaters.
I'm 5 episodes into Breaking Bad.
When does it start getting good guys? If it weren't for all the reccomendations I would have ditched this after the first episode.
The first season is a slow burn. I enjoyed it from the beginning though I'll admit the first season is definitely the weakest. Tuco!
I just don't get how people were motivated to stick with it considering the early episodes. It's slow, the story isn't particularly great, the directing and camera work is basic. Nothing is really popping so far.
I thought episodes six and seven were the really great episodes. Each season gets better. Season 2 introduces a mystery that is solved at the end of the season. Season 4 and 5 are phenomenal, especially the finales and...Ozmandious. I don't want to spoil anything by saying or hyping anymore. It's better if you experience it without my constant hype. If you decide to quit it, I can understand. Not everyone will enjoy the same kind of shows.
DC Films will have a half hour special on the CW titled Dawn of the Justice League
We will get the first trailer for Suicide Squad and a brief clip of Wonder Woman.
It is January 19th at 9:30 PM ET.
Legends of Tomorrow looks like an abomination.

I'll stick with it thanks.
March 18th? Damn, I'm restless and I only watched it a month and a half ago. I don't know how everyone else has been able to wait this whole time.

Breaking Bad is overrated. Very much so. There are good episodes but it's largely underwhelming and overrated. And ... Better Call Saul is completely shit. Honestly, there are much better series to watch. Like Fargo (especially season 2)
Since I registered with Netflix a couple of days ago I have been binge-watching Making a Murderer. It's compulsive viewing and if it's even, like 60% true, what the police and sherrif have done to this person is just so fucked I couldn't even begin to put it to words. I am finding it almost hard to believe that this is real if it wasn't all real footage. It really has to be seen.
I fuckin love Netflix

I was kidding at the time I wrote that. I didn't know. I have since checked, and apparently no, it doesn't have it. At least I can't find it. There is something called Knights of Sidonia which I can't make any sense of, and something called Seven Deadly Sins which is sort of nice and cheerful, reminds me of a Level-5 game in a sense.
You are absolutely right. I will be ready to deal with the consequences of such nefligence should it happen again.
