What are you, a fucking cat? Less napping, moar fapping!
I'm like a younger version of my dad, just constantly falling asleep on the sofa.

(That's right. I said it. I know an angry Nintendo shitstorm is brewing.)I'm going to beat Arkham Asylum tonight, and I'm hoping to buy the Metroid Prime Trilogy and beat at least one of the games in it. I've never beaten a Metroid before, and it is about time.

There are factors GG that I dont have to deal with, sharing a TV would really mess me up.
I agree on your view of games, but even sitting on a couch they require effort, be it physical or mental. You can't close your eyes and lie down like you can listening to music. Sharing a TV is my bane as well as people who want to watch stuff "with me". Whilst I just want them to **** off. If there was room I would consider sitting two TVs next to each other with headphones.
Oh and I occasionally read. It's rare, but it does happen.
When constipated I do a lot of gaming on the bog, but since I got Rhythm Heaven I haven't been able to put it down, despite getting perfects in everything bar 3 games - damn Moai heads 2. I think I did my second (runs through) on Phoenix Wright 2, was all exclusive to toilet seat time.
I guess this is why I want shorter (but cheaper) games.

Wait until you have kids, D. I own a TV for everyone in my household. And I still get evicted from the living room from time to time.
Yeah, I'm not looking forward to sharing a TV with my new roomie. Something will have to change there.
There are many things I'd like to share with your new roomie...
...mostly inches...

It adds an extra element to Rhythm Heaven. When you involuntarily er..... squeeze something out then it makes your hand all a twitter and you can't maintain the beat.

Involuntarily?? You're either getting too much fiber or not enough.

Please refrain from delving deeper into GG's anus habits. His asshole defies logic and physics laws at the same time.

If you want to beat a Metroid game, why not download Super Metroid?
It is cheaper: $8 instead of $50
The game is shorter
And I know you are not a big fan of motion/pointer control, so that would be another plus.

Or he could just pick up the Gamecube version of Metroid Prime for $7.

Or I could buy the game that I want to buy. Besides that, I really enjoyed how MP3 controlled. You can't peg me as an all around motion control hater. One of the reasons I was less than impressed with LKS is that it is screaming for motion control.

My mistake, but still you should buy Super Metroid anyways. And true about LKS, well Pikmin 3 will probably fill that void.

Actually, I've already got Super Metroid. I pick it up and play it from time to time. Arkham Asylum brought back memories of playing the Metroid Prime games, and I feel the need to play them again.

I dont feel it was screaming for it, but they could definetly been more savvy with how you seperate and command the troops. Did you use the advanced controls with MP3?

It's also a deadly game of trying not to drop the DS in the toilet and balancing it on the windowsill without touching any bits I dont want it touching.
All games should be played like this.

Some of you say "well I play it until I feel I played enough" I cant do that, if I dont finish a game I feel like I threw money down a toliet. And I know that doesn't make sense, really what is the difference if you play 12 hours and stop and I play 14 hours and finish it, ohhh I got 2 hours more big deal, but that quest to finish it drives me mad. Unless the game sucks, in that case I did throw money down the toilet so why bother finishing it.
When I do actually play games that have a finish, I do end up finishing them -- including the garbage.

As I've got older I've got more impatient. I used to read a book from start to end and the same for a film. Now if it doesn't grip me I dont feel like wasting any more time on it. I've given up on many shitty films after half an hour.

I think it's admirable that you finish all of your games. I really do. It all comes down to how each individual prefers to enjoy their games. Some will finish all of them, others will only glean as much enjoyment as they need from the experience, and move on; and there are even those whom will scour every nook and crevice of each game they own for every last morsel of gameplay. None of these gameplay choices are misguided; the only thing that truely matters is enjoyment.

Some incessantly correct spelling mistakes, such as "experiance" (see: experience).
While I tend to push myself through games, I can't be bothered to do the whole 100% everything. Seems a little too requisite of obsessive-compulsion.

This is a lot cheaper than buying a new PS3 and TV. I'll have to look into that. Thanks!
