Played some No More Heroes 2 and I have to say that I like it better than the original. The pacing is much better, the jobs are much better, training is much better, enemies have better AI, there is some destructible scenery, there is more variety in enemies and you can turn in a tiger and maul people. Plus there is the awesome mecha fight. So far better than the original, but compared to Red Steel 2, the core fight mechanic is a bit light.

Oh SHIT

THIS IS IN THE MOTHERFUCKING GAME

FUCK YEAH, triangle choke and a motherfucking slam

Played up till Shinobu's part. She is awesome, she has all her moves from the original. Diving attack, jumping multi-slash and the sonic boom. Oh and Suda should forever be banned for doing any platforming whatsoever.

Avoid his fire bombs close the distance and whale on that man whale. If he attacks avoid and carry on my wayward son. Was easy, bosses die a lot quicker than in the original. Which is good, the original bosses felt more like war of attrition

Also beat the poison lady and million gunman. Awesome death scene he had.

He's easy. Just run in circles to avoid his flaming dragon thing.

Precisely.  He's a pretty easy boss so long as you avoid the flaming dragon thingy.  One of the bosses where you don't really need to take any damage

All right I ended up buying this game finally.  Very very good. I'm only 2 boss fights in so I've barely scratched the surface but I'm enjoying it. My only real complaint is that it's been a little too tongue in cheek. Within 5 minutes they're already breaking the 4th wall, which is something that people do when they've run out of truly creative ideas. Fortunately it looks like after the opening the game starts to improve, so I've got little doubt I'll enjoy this.

And hey, how cool is it that you get to kill Cloud right as the game begins. That's a nice touch.

yeah the beginning is great.  it's also the one fight you only got to watch as a cut-scene but never actually play in the original and I think most people seeing that really wished they could actually have fought helter-skelter themselves

why did you think he was cheap?  the only danger was his attack which threw you out the window and killed you at once, during his second manifestation.  the third manifestation was only difficult until i figured out how i had to fight then it was fine.  overall not a very difficult final boss.

The attack where he teleports over and over again. and if he hits you once, he keeps hitting you without the chance of getting up. Plus the whirlwind attack the same thing. Some bosses really have the annoying "I keep knocking you to the ground attack"

Cool, right on man, I am glad you got it.

I played it as soon as it came out in the states in a few short sittings and I have to say my memories of it are pretty much gone at this point.

I hate those kind of attacks.  They make me feel incapacitated.

The hardest problem I've have with playing the game is making time for it at night. Since every other word out of Travis' mouth is "Fuck" I don't really like playing it in front of the 4 year old.
