Okay played some more of de Blob.
The same is like a strange combo of GTA, platformer and painting. You have this open world were you jump around and paint stuff. Oh and the music is funky!
Ravenprose said:De Blob's lack of challenge, at least in the first three levels that I played, made it feel less like a game and more like something to just chill out with, kinda like Endless Ocean. It was so easy that it became boring fairly quick. Its charm kept me playing, though.
Yeah, the best part are the mini missions. They are difficult and tense, you can compare them to the void levels of Sunshine!

I would in no way say that they were the best segments, but they did add some devious challenges to the mix.
Okay I am back bitches!
I gave up on de Blob. I was trying to 100% it, but I was simply not having fun. Plus finishing the levels before a certain time limit is annoying, because the games does not show how long you have been playing the level.
I lent the game to my cousin.
On to the next game, Bully. I am really enjoying this game. I am doing the missions now and I went on a date with a rich bitch, Pinky. The date ended with a kiss. So I walk around and see another chick. It is the tall brunette with pigtails. So I kissed here, but Pinky saw it and started to wrestle with that girl. I went to Pinky, but she ran way. I chased here down, talked to her and gave her flowers and a kiss. But now the other girl sees it and walks towards me and knee's me in the balls

What? Oh you meant this game, yeah it makes more sense now.
I played it some more, the worst part is the motion control during the classes like chemistry and shop. The motion control do work, but the game does a crappy job explaining what you should do, and if you fail the game fails to tell you want you did wrong. I finished the first shop class, after I finally discovered that you have to turn the wii-mote like a screw driver.
I taught the rich kids a lesson, so now it's chapter III for me. I keep getting lot's of missions, but they are usually of the go follow the radar variety. I guess that's the problem with sandbox games. I also have a lighthouse now, too bad I can't invite girl over and get it ON.
Grease monkeys are the next.

Yeah it shows you that you need to twist the wii-mote. I do it and I fail multiple times. I needed to do short twist multiple times. Or in chemistry class, it shows nunchuck icon with an arrow pointing downwards. Do I push the nunchuck down? Or towards me? A hard pull or a gentle pull?

You sound like a game reviewer who can't work out what he's doing wrong with motion controls. I had no problems myself with this game.
If I recall correctly if the icon shows the nunchuk moving down you move it down towards the floor.

Not really, reviewers would blame the controls and say that the controls are inaccurate. I never blamed the controls myself. I have issues with the game communicating with the player. A button can only do one thing while motions are a bit more complex. Once I figured it out it was easy. So I urge developers to put animations in the game that show exactly what motions you should make.
It's a small issue, still better than Okami though. Ready at Dawn did a shitty job of porting Okami over.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileWow, Bully is really addicting. Sure technically the game is not good and there is too much loading for my liking, but the rest is gold.
The over world is nice and the missions are awesome. It has "okay I will stop, just one more mission" feel. Some of the missions are hilarious, like helping a drunk hobo Santa. He asks you to take out another Santa. So you run over there and start to destroy his place. Destroy the candles, candy, presents, etc. But while you are doing it, you are attacked by midgets dressed up as elf's .
Another missions you have to defend the nerd outpost against the jocks. So you lead a group of nerds in battle. In the end you take control of a turret and defend against a wave after wave of jocks.
I finally figured out the motion controls for the chemistry and shop classes. Once you know how, they are easy and fun. Now I can make firecrackers and stink bombs.
There are many types of missions, delivery missions, sneaking missions, fighting missions, racing missions. Can't wait to play it more.

I heard the 360 version is a glitch fest. Do you have the PS2 version?

No excuses for you. Finish MadWorld (you hve to see the end credits) and then play this.
bugsonglass said:didn't i read somewhere that it was no more than 2-3 people that did the okami port and they didn't have easy access to the game's resources at clover? they did ok, considering
No they did not! They did a crappy job to be honest. The pointing controls are not as good as they should be and they are jerky. Plus the pattern recognition is off. Sometimes you draw a circle perfectly, but the game does not recognize it. You have to draw shapes a certain way, or you are screwed.
Motion control for attacking with the shield suddenly require timing. Dodging with the nunchuck is useless, because the direction of your dodge depends on the camera angle.
And the got rid of the end credits. According to them, it could not fit on the Wii disk. But yet the credits are in the Japanese Wii version of Okami.
Is the Wii version the inferior version? No it is not. Even crappy pointer controls are faster than a analog stick. Shows you how crappy analog sticks are in this case. Loading is shorter on the Wii version. But more importantly and the only reason the Wii version is superior. You can skip all the cut scenes. Yes, if you ever want to replay the game, you do not have to wait a half hour until the stupid intro is done. You can just skip it. And the story is crap anyways, so I recommend to skip it the first time around.
Okay, I tried playing around with all the stuff you get for beating Okami 100%.
I have 9 Karmic transformers, each one changes you in a different kind of dog. One kinda looks like a photo-realistic wolf.
The string of beads if fucking awesome. Besides being invurnable and having infinite ink, it increased power 10 fold. One swipe of my rosary kills a green imp, fuck, even my poo kills a green imp with a single hit. Okay enough, time to start another game.
LKS has to wait, because de Blob is next. Wow, at the loading screen you can paint with you pointer. It's so easy to draw a straight line or even spell your name. Wow, in Okami it is so much worse. It feels like they rushed to port the painting from analog to pointer. It's still faster (than analog), but not as accurate (as de Blob). Shame on you Okami porting people.
Okay I tried few timed levels. You have to point some building a specific colour and finish the level before the time runs out. You will be graded with a bronze, silver or gold medal. Wow, these levels are intense, you have to think what you are doing and you have to do it fast. Awesome!
Can't wait to play more!
