I think I'll hover up another 150 moons, but I'm not going to go pixel hunting for the last 150.  I've always gotten all the stars in previous Mario games, but too many moons lack that sense of achievement for me to really go OCD.

The harder to find - the more satisfying to get. Also, I bought and wore Peaches wedding dress. It's amazing, so wrong yet so right. From behind Mario looks like a ghost lol and the various parts of clothing undulate and flow like cloth physics.

My son got the bowser amiibo. He's also making great progress. He's currently in the snow world. We've played some together, but most he did on his own. The'easy' setting is amazing. Recharging health (not while fighting bosses) , arrows to point you in the right direction and no air restriction while swimming.

Also, my favorite thing about switch so far: you can set your language ib game per user. I vastly prefer to play in english, but the son just only started reading and having the option to play in dutch is great for him.

Played a couple of hours and am really enjoying it so far. The game looks great. I really enjoy just wandering around looking for secrets and things. I’m playing it with the joycons detached and in each hand. The rumble feels quite good and I imagine that there are/will be other games that will use it to great effect. I really dig how they alter the intensity to each joycon to find secrets. The joycons are pretty small though and I did fumble with them a couple of times while playing the game. It wasn’t too big of a deal though.

Where are you at the moment?  I called it a day after collecting 600 moons and am back to playing Splatoon. It's a great palette cleanser after Mario, is what I'm saying.

Played for another 2 hours or so today and have made it to New Donk City. I think I have like 74 or 76 moons right now. The game certainly is not hard, at least not yet, however I’m enjoying it immensely. There is just something about Nintendo games like this that make you feel joyous playing them or perhaps it’s just my nostalgia for them in general. I can totally see how Splatoon would be a palette cleanser though due to the style of gameplay change.

I went back to Odyssey too. About 730 moons in. Anyone else worried about collecting rewards from toadette? The game saves after every star, so when you are getting a whole bunch the game is saving like 40 times in a row.

Made it to Bowser’s Kingdom and have 171 moons now. Love those little 8 bit parts that they put into the game, nicely implemented.

I've done virtually every moon in the game except the dark side of the moon. I thought it was a straight boss run but the list says there are 24 moons there?

What final world?  The dark side isn't the last one.

Good lord this game is so freaking good. Got about 280 some moons, went to the dark side of the moon, and am revisiting all the kingdoms and just having an all around great time with this game.

Playing this game currently ... I am enjoying the levels when I get to them ... but I am not enjoying having to look for them.  Fuck exploration, I wish this was a straight platformer.
