I was super hyped for this back in the day and I agree completely with everything you've said, Vader. The combat and music are the best of the series. This may sound odd but it had the best treasure opening sequence with the chorus....so good! And really the only bad part of the game is the visual presentation. It seems so clunky even in 2006. Sadly, I doubt I can afford this right now.

Agreed. And possibly my best game of all time. It consumed me completely and occupied my every thought while I was playing it like few games have before or since. Being one of the few people who didn't get to play Ocarina of Time (until I tried it on the Gamecube which was already practically unplayable) helped to make this even that much more special going by what Vader has said, as I didn't really have that kind of familiarity.
I love it. I have ordered the boxed version with the wolf amiibo. Can't wait to play it again.
If it wasn't for the Amiibo, I might not have bought this day 1 though truth be told. XCX is dominating my time, over 100 hrs in now.

Word, agred on the best dungeons, Midna is quality as well, the rest of the game has plenty of holes in its argument. It's a way better game than Wind Waker and Skyward Sword though, so I guess that's saying something.

The Legend of Zelda: Toilet Princess, mrite.
Amazon tried to bill the wrong card, a gift card FFS.
My order is delayed.
Look at that Gerstmann face.....good god. That is a face right there that just SCREAMS "I'm giving out controversial scores just to get a rise out of people". This is what began his trip into getting fired. Kane & Lynch was just the icing on the cake. That was a different situation but it all stemmed from him being one of the final reviews for many big games & quite obviously giving games a score of 5 to 10 points BELOW or ABOVE the average. Saw him do it so many times it was predictable. Of course, the irony is that Gamespot has now become KNOWN for doing that across the baord these days.
This Friday Nintendo releases one of their biggest Wii U games of the year, a port of a 10 year old game!
Zelda TP is one of my top 5 games of all time, I love it dearly. I will debate with anyone that if this game came out first before OoT it would be the one that is considered the best game of all time. It has elements of all the 3D Zelda's, it had the best combat, the best dungeons, the best variety in gameplay, the coolest items, the best bosses. The problem was it felt very familiar, the art style is kind of ugly, leading to this feeling that the game was outdated before it even hit. Still this is exactly what I want from my Zelda games and games in general.
My main complaint is the difficulty, well Nintendo is giving me a way to fix that. It allows for hero mode to be unlocked from the start which removes all heart items from the game world and doubles the damage by enemies. Plus if you have the ganon amiibo you can activate super hard mode which doubles the damage even further meaning 4x damage. At the start of the game almost anything will kill you in one hit and unless you have a potion nothing will heal you. I am going full on dark souls baby! I am excited, lets see if the challenge can enhance the experience.
Also if you have ever seen TP on an HDtv you know how ugly it is. This HD transfer seems to have done a great job with the look. Look at this incredible trailer!

Look at that! Look how much variety there is that one trailer, most games don't even dream of doing half of that. I cant wait to play this again!
