Losing 80% of matches today. Looking at the scoring I was top 2 usually each match but the rest of the team ahhhh.
Problem is I get paired with a bunch of level 30s then one or two level 5s or 7s. And whomever gets lumped with these deadweights lose. Should you be unfortunate enough to get 2 of them, half your team - your match is a washout.
Also paired with idiots on tower control who act like it's a turf wars match. Sometimes 3 fools who ink turf or ink anything to get a special and ignore the tower completely - these matches typically end in a minute.
And fools who only go on one side of the map on Bluefin depot leaving me alone to defend either left or right alone in turf wars

This is why you should buy it and fight by my side.
Sadly, I simply cannot afford it atm. I just bought a $75 car key this morning because the old one fell apart and my car was stranded at work.
Imagine getting in your car, looking forward to the weekend, and your key just falls apart. The part that goes into the ignition was fine but I needed the chip inside to actually start the car. I was not a happy camper yesterday evening.
I had one Splatfest match where three players on the other team stopped what they were doing just to chase me down to KO me.
They were playing Turf War.
That was the only match I won in Splatfest because them chasing me down gave my team the advantage of inking the ground while they were distracted.
Weird. To both posts above.
Crap, it's Splatfest and the only option is private room and we have too few to make it fun. I'm going to play Splatfest
Definitely post more test info if you do them, GG, interesting stuff.
SupremeAC said:I disagree with you. If there would be no marker, there'd be less strategical thinking required, and more endless skirmishes, especially in tower control. In some of the smaller levels I just don't use the squidjump and in the larger ones you need to keep an eye on the map to see who's in the middle of a fight and where you can jump to safely. It's a valid part of the gameplay experience.
Agreed. The last thing Splatoon needs is to be simpler than it already is.
I had a floundering heights match where an enemy and me circled eachother and because of lag he kept vanishing and reappearing somewhere else like Nightcrawler from the Xmen.
Had an awesome Splatfest, got an awesome team. For some weird reason we got shunted onto 7 matches at Blackberry skate and two on Kelp Dome. We lost the dome but dominated Blackberry park. We were like a well oiled machine, each time a new match started you could see each person moving off in the same way, methodical, clinical. We won with an 80/20 split everytime.

So here's something I was going to keep to myself. Go to the training area with 3x sub savers and a splash wall equipped.
You can launch one splash wall after the other INFINITELY.
Without recharging. That's right, even without swimming in ink you naturally recharge ink and because of the runtime of the splash wall you naturally recover enough to launch successive splat walls infinitely.
A game changer I thought but when tested in the field it doesn't hold up, because you're pumping out so much ink to ink turf you still end up with an ink deficit which limits how much you can deploy the wall. I also found the same limitation with 3x sub savers and suction bombs in the field. In training from a full tank you can fire off 2 compared to 1 without 3x savers. In the field? Nope.
Sub savers are generally worthless even with 3x as main items.
How was your splatfest haul? I nabbed 16 sea snails.
Nice matches Iga, Nintyfan, shame they kicked us out for the news updates. Iga, why do you have to be a charger asshole? So annoying! You know you can't really ink much with those?
I've gone with the gold aerospray to use the ink strike. The mine is okay but hardly ever kills someone.
Robio, you quit just as I joined you.
I got only 6 Sea Snails. I only made it to Fiend rank and my choice won overall.
I went with N-Zap '89 because the Instrike and Sprinkler.
Iga I sent you a friend request same with Supreme AC.
I still need to add more people from here to my friends list.
GG I tried to join you before I actually joined you and you weren't there.

I am trying new weapons. Always loved using snipers, so I am trying the splaterscope. Although I cannot ink much, I can help my team. Not only by killing shit, but also by being there and making sure that the other team cannot freely move around. It is nice to have a changer in your team. They keep the other team busy.
You guys met up to play splatoon today?! Asses, I could have joined, but figured everyone would have had their fill after splatfest. Which I didn't manage to partake in for the first time ever. Bah!

It was kind of an accident that we met up. I started playing Splatoon and GG was on so I joined him to find out Iga was also in that match.
What would you like to see in a ver 3 update?
I'd like them to nerf the nzap, allow you to choose your sub and special individually. Make the online map selection work like Mario Kart. Do something to the rainmaker to make it fairer and more methodical. I also think some maps need patching up a bit in ranked battles in terms of the levels with gaps leading to water and/or oblivion.
I feel Port Mackerel needs balancing, it only suits more powerful weapons and punishes you for using others. It would be cool in Arowana mall if you actually go inside it or in shops.
The two new weapons are crrrrrrrrrrrap.
