I don't know what that means.
It means it will break records in sales all across the world? Unlikely but I think it will be very successful all the same.
This game is the equivalent of James Camerons Avatar then.
But it will not make money.
New Pokemon have entered Pokken Tournament just in time for the this month's launch - Charizard and Weavile!
They should just update Smash bros with the most popular Pokemon.
So last night I booted up the game again and quickly had a crushing defeat while using Pikachu Libre. I decided it was time to start experimenting with some other characters and just like in Super Smash Bros., I found my way to Charizard. And the game pretty much clicked at that moment. I spent some extra time in the tutorial and the 1st level off-line tournament, and felt like I was ready to go. And I was. First guy up had a 12 - 0 record, and he received his first loss from me. FUCK YOU AND YOUR SCEPTILE!!! YOU AIN'T SHIT!!! I GOT THE MUTHAFUCKING CHARIZARD AND I WILL NOT BE DENIED!!!!!!! I went through another newb playing a Gengar (in fairness the game was out for about 12 hours so I suppose we're all newbs, but online fighting is about insults if nothing else), but at that point it was getting late and called it a night.
Oh this might be a good time for some feedback about the online. It's excellent. Matchmaking took all of 10 seconds per battle or less. Fighting was as smooth as offline. If Smash's online was a concern, it doesn't seem to be a problem for Pokken Tournament. That may change as the game gets more players, but at this point it's a great experience.
The demo is fun. Very limited. Only 4 pokemon available. You can't play anything other than a lone single player fight. And even then, it locks competely after a limited number of uses.
I have won everytime whenever I've played using Charizard, Gengar, and Lucario and lost using Pikachu the useless muppet. Not sure if it's easier than the full game.
Yo this game is off the chain nikka!
I just opened up the first tournament, since you have to fight your way into the Top 8 before entering. So far I'm undefeated so I assume its going to get harder at this point. Gameplay is great though, plays very similar to Tekken. Haters gonna hate!

The demo is available in Europe. I think it will come to the u.s. next week.

The beginning battles are extremely easy. Pretty much just button mash your way to victory. As you get ranked into higher leagues though it is supposed to become harder. I hear that when you reach the third league, Red, the game's challenge starts to kick in.
Any concerns about the games difficulty are over. I just entered the Red League (the third out of four), and the jump in difficulty is quite noticeable. And if that isn't enough the online players have starting figuring out the game quite nicely and now I'm getting my ass completely handed to me. Its not fun anymore....I suck.
This game is the videogame equivalent of the Fast and the Furious.
I don't know what that means.
