Never would have guessed...
Where can you tell how many hours?
I check the stats on the Wii u, the daily log and change it to monthly. Of course menus take some of the time, but I have close to fifty four hours, so I just guess that I've played close to fifty.
This game has incredible polish. Everything seems to be made of 3D models, even the audience members who usually look like cardboard cut outs.
Well, I saw that Travo was playing MK8, so I hopped online too. Only, you weren't there!
Boy, the friend list should at least show if someone's playing online or not...
Anyhow, I had the most unlikely of victories today in 150CC. I had a stroke of bad luck, started the last lap in 9th, got in second and managed to score a hit on the 1st just as he was about to cross the finishline. I saved the replay, but don't have a google ID to post it here.

Yeah, but I think it shows that it's an early HD game for Nintendo. there is so little surpluss content. The spectators are just player models in different colours, there's absolutely nothing in terms of cutscenes, very little in terms of menu's... That and there's no anti-aliasing deployed. I expected a bit more of Nintendo to be honnest.
Supreme , that wasn't me, but my son and wife. But you have a point. When we see our friends online, maybe there should be a notification if they're online or not instead of having to boot up the game to do so.

Oh that is evil. Funny...but evil.
This looks absolutely stunning. If you're 10 metres away from the screen.
Alright, I set up a tournament room. It's private so there's a code required. If you wanna participate, just PM me for the code. I hope we have a bunch of participants.
What constitutes finishing this game? Can I put it on the completed games list?
^ Getting 1st place in every race on every cup in single player (you'll have 3 gold stars next to each gold cup trophy), beaten every Nintendo staff ghost, and have over1 million online points.
Okay, I may have made up that last one. :-P
That's completing the game, BTW. Beating the game would simply require you to have gotten at least bronze trophies on every cup, and 1500 online points.
Wow, over fifty hours!
