I just heard the news about Liverpool now. FUCKING CHELSEA.

Least now Liverpool can focus on destroying United's hopes of winning the EPL.

LOL Asshole.

Clock is ticking now. Hope I make it home in time to catch the second half. My predictions are:

Arsenal 2 - 1 Villarreal.
FC Porto 1 - 1 ManU

Dammit were all the Yankees and the Canucks!? They must learn to appreciate football! Let our light of knowledge wash away their darkness of ignorance. Do not fear the light, it shall enlighten you!

LOL They're a lost cause. Their feeble minds cannot focus on any sport for periods of time longer than 3 minutes. That's when replays and time offs kick in.

Weren't you in Belgium, BTW?

off in about 10 minutes to watch both games at the pub.  i love watching inconsequential football.  i don't care one bit about who goes through, i'm just going to drink beer and enjoy it.

if the great man says manchester though ... who am i to disagree?

peace!

Be sure to hold up your beer mug and yell "BALLS". If you do that, I'll be present in spirit with you.

Belgium is one hour with a train, I am back now. Europe rocks, so small so many countries.

P.S. Football was quite popular when I was in New York. People were talking about the European Cup, you know a competition that the USA does not participate in, everywhere. The US has a nice team, I think lot's of people are going to watch the World Cup. Now if only they stop getting handegg and football confused with each other.

The US team consistently kicks our team in the ass. LOL It's so painful to watch, especially when taking into account most people on the US care little about football.

LOL Handegg.

Where in Belgium did you visit? Brussels? Do you speak french?

No Antwerpen, the biggest city of Belgium. And they speak Dutch there. Was not really a visit, was kinda like a business trip and the trip lasted 3 hours + 2 hours travel time.

I saw highlights of Liverpool vs some chick named Chelsea and it ended 4-4.  So it should go into overtime right, nope. I have no clue what it means but they say something about an aggregate score so magically Chelsea won the game. WTF.

You mean to tell me who advances in this tournament doesn't have to do with who wins the actual game. Thats why SOCCER sucks.

Basically the two teams play each other at home and away. If you win away it means more, I think. Overall they add up the scores from the games or something.
