I will say this. I am very pleased that the 3DS is not abandoning 2D sidescrollers. I feared that as portables got more advanced all games would start looking like console games (PSP/Vita I am looking at you) but the 3DS has been able to keep the unique identity of different kinds of games in familiar franchises. 2D Castlevania still lives. 2D Mario (though now he is everywhere in 2D) still lives. We are getting a Castle of Illusion game done in the same graphical style, wow! Dont get me wrong the full fledged games like Paper Mario and Kingdom Hearts are great too but it needs to have a balance.
I really hope the 3DS Zelda is top down, I dont need a 3D Zelda on portables too.

You didn't notice this over the last 5 years?

Is that a SS jab. Man that game is such a sucky Zelda game by comparison to all other 3D Zeldas.

Good riddance, I say. Who needs all those quirky, original games when we can have triple-A sequel #16-2.

Well said, Vader.
travo said:No, that's a Phantom Hourglass and... Whatever the hell the other one is called jab.
Oh well those were kind meh too. Zelda has been in a funk lately.

I liked it way more than PH. Still not as good as any of the GBC ones.
I really liked Spirit Tracks. The dungeons were awesome. Phantom Hourglass not quite as good but still decent. Zelda is still special

I want to finish PH and start Spirit Tracks. I don't have the hand-held opportunities I once had.

you should take your time on the bog. that way you always get time for your handhelds
I'm a bit depressed after this E3. Usually E3 is better than Christmas, this year was a washout. Combine that with all the crap I've had to put up with for the past 6 weeks, sleeping in different houses and still-not-finished-construction work and now having to sleep on a floor because a bed shop fucked up for a week - back hurting. It's just miserable. And after a week of 25C heat we are in June and it's cold in England.

4 days of constant bullshit.
