If it's available for rental at my Blockbuster I'll give it a shot. I've got the unlimited rental pass, so what the hell why not? I can't recall seeing it before though, so I won't guarantee it. I'll drop by there later on in the week and take a look.
You guys decide but remember LA Noire is next week so i am stopping any game I am playing to play that.

OK, this sounds good. Should give everyone plenty time to sort out their gaming schedule accordingly and also enough time for anyone who wants to join but doesn't have the game yet.

Hope you are able to find a rental copy
Okay for start of June! That shoudl give me time to start and finish Yakuza 4.
Cool, I look forward to it.
Shan't be joining in - I've no interest in going through Brutal Legend again (literally stopped at the last battle), and I've got my own insane little project planned.
Will multiplayer be part of the festivities?

I didn't know the game had multiplayer. I will be playing on the PS3 so I guess it will also depend on whether PSN is running by then

No impressions for you Judas
Honestly, doing Brutal Legend in a game club is the only way I'd ever play it, but I'll reserve my statements for the official thread when it opens.

STONE HIM!

I have not had any exposure to him, but the Mrs. was angry at me buying this game solely on the basis of it having jack Black in it. Plus she thinks Tim Schaefer is over-rated.

Your wife went from being awesome to horrible in one fell swoop.
Her only exposure to Shaeffer is listening to me prattle on with meaningless trivia about him, Double Fine and the LucasArts games for the last 14 years, so you can give her a break on this one.
You think I babble on here incessantly about games? You should live with me -- it's unbearable.

You are right. It's all her fault. She just doesn't understand you. Give her one last chance and let her try and appreciate Grim Fandango. If that fails then you have grounds for divorce.
On a more serious note, I actually don't mind Jack Black. I know he whored himself beyond all hope, but I do think he can be (and has been) genuinely funny.
Probably early June. I think we should always start these at the beginning of a month.
