Walked into a GameStop late last night. It's my usual store, but it has changed management lately, so most of the people there don't know me now.
Walked up to the counter, told the dude at the register I was there to pick up a game I had pre-ordered. His response: "Barbie's Horse Adventure: Ride Camp, right? Ha ha ha ha...!"
Yesterday was CoD: Ghosts day... I can only guess how many times he used that tired joke... He was automatically reaching for Ghosts for 360 as he cracked it...
When I responded: "No. I had Guided Fate Paradox for PS3 paid for in full" the perplexed look of confusion on his face was almost priceless. It took him a full minute to realize his joke backfired, I --WASN'T-- getting Call of Duty and for him to actually acknowledge the game I was asking for existed and go get it. I then had to stand there as he read the box, admired the box-art and --FINALLY-- processed the pick-up.
Don't know why this annoyed me so much. I understand yesterday was a big day for game stores --BUT-- when a gamer is treated like he has three heads just because he isn't buying a game everyone else is buying or simply the more "popular" game, it's just a sad sign to me that I am now in the small, small minority of this industry and there's almost no place for me anymore. Concerning.
I bought the NSMB U + Super Luigi U Deluxe Set tonight. I can now confirm that both games come on a disk with a retail case.

I don't know about the actual game, but the version is very good according to GAF and visually it's a bit better than current gen. But even PS4 if you look at comparison vids you might not care about that difference. As far as AC3 goes at least the minimap upad helped and I hear theres a U companion app.

Yeah that's a good point which is why I went with that for now so I'll see how things go over the year. Plus I'm getting the PS4 first and leave my 360 hooked up to the tv for sometime until I decide to get an Xbox One later on.
