Did you even start it last time?

Umm, maybe.
Actually I got fairly far into it and was really enjoying it.

Not yet. I am somewhat interested in it though.
I have The Outer Worlds to help with the quarantine boredom.
I managed to snag me a Switch Light bundle today. I was eyeing these for a couple of days, but they would sell out and only be restocked with about 10 pieces a day, so I needed to stumble on the site at the right time to pounce.
It's a light blue Switch Light with a physical copy of Animal Crossing, an AC case with screen protector, a Cap'n amiibo and 3 packs of AC amiibo cards. Total worth would be somewhere between €350 to €370 and they were selling for €265. I'm hoping to be able to sell on the copy of animal crossing for €40 to bring down the price of the remaining goods to that of a standalone Switch light.
As I mentionned before, the arrival of Animal Crossing has been met with such enthousiasm in my household that I can hardly play any Switch myself anymore. And since my wife has taken to it, this situation could not improve for months. Because of this action needed to be taken in the form of a new console purchase!
The Switch Lite got delivered today, which is much faster than I was expecting. However, due to anti corona meassures my wife has unilaterally imposed, the box will go in quarantine for a couple of days before we are allowed to open it. Dumb pseudo science and confusing reporting. The virus population on materials dies by over 50% in a couple of hours, but some journalist published an article that the virus can survive for 3 days on some materials. It can. or at least 0.1% of it can.

Fuck that. I'd get drunk (with her) and when she goes to sleep you just open it and blame it on your mutual drunkeness the next day. Then say, "Well shit, damage is done, no going back, so I may as well play some Animal Crossing". Also AC we need to friend list each other on Switch however that is done.

Weren't we friends on WiiU? If that's the case you should pop up in my friend suggestions. I'll check and if you're not there I'll post my friendcode.

I did the only thing a self respecting man could do: I opened the packaging while she was out.

Hey guess what? We've been friends on Switch for ages.
Since I'm stuck at home until ....I ordered Far Cry V and Elder Scrolls Online. Together, they were under $20.
Some impressions on how Switch handles digital downloads over multiple systems:
When you have multiple Switch consoles, you are 'allowed' to download your software on all switches that host the account that bought the software with. One Switch will be the 'primary console'. If you want to play downloaded games on the other switch, a quick check will happen where the console pings to the server to see if you're not already using the account on a nother system. This takes about 2 seconds, but it does mean you need an internet connection, or at least a mobile phone to tether to.
I tried loading up a game on the Lite while I had a suspended game on the Switch, but was told I could not. So you have to close your game on one console to be able to play a different game on the other. However, and this is where it gets interesting: I was able to play Animal Crossing on my account on the Lite, while my wife was playing the same single digital copy of the game on the main Switch. I figured that this must have been a glitch, but after some googling it seems that this might actually be allowed. So you could have 2 people playing the same game together, as long as it's a digital purchase. If true, and I'll definitely check with more games, this would be awesome for families.
Anyhow, this is a game I played on Wii, and while I'm not sure I'll make it through the 120 hour long story once more, I adored the game so much back then that I felt I should at least try and get hold of the limited edition.
