I am at the Fenix Estate, pinned down by a Troika and an Emergence Hole. It's the part after you fight another Berserker. There's a countdown timer running and I have NO idea why...? It started when I began fighting the Berserker, but never ended, even after killing it!

Ten minutes in and I am already impressed! SOLID graphics, stylish-presentation and some of the BEST stealth I have EVER seen outside of a title without the initials MGS!

I LOVE the Execution moves. I LOVE the way Light and the Environement plays SUCH a HUGE role. I LOVE earning Executions with the Hand to Hand moves. Setting traps. Peeking under doors, jumping from Cover to Cover, etc, etc, etc.

Yeah. I'm gonna say it: Even Solid Snake could take a few lessons here!

Metal Gear is to the East : Splinter Cell is to the West!

I'm up to this part in Splinter Cell: Modern Warfare...

...Call of Duty: Conviction...?

Eh. Whatever. I'm playing ANOTHER cover-based shooter!

Wheee...!

I ALSO playing quite a bit of the game IGN described as "Too Nerdy for Nerds."

Takes a Nerdy Nerd to know a Nerdy Nerd, eh IGN?

Anyway, it was probably too complicated for them to figure out.

One part Magic, One part Monopoly with a smidge of Eternal Sonata graphics thrown in there.

All of the cards were designed and drawn by some of Japan's top Artists. I love it for the Card Drawings alone,

but ALSO enjoy it for the Board Game, Strategy aspect of it as well!

Imagine an SRPG almost where a single battle can take upwards of 5-6 hours sometimes!

(Yes. You can suspend it mid battle!)

I'm wondering if even Aspro bothered with that last one? He's the ONLY other person on this site that I could picture even coming close to buying it!

Of course I have it.  It was too insane not to buy.

That's Culdcept Saga right?  I have not opened it yet, but figured it would be hard to find by the time I wanted to play it so got it close to launch.

I don't care how "Nerdy" it is: I honestly, truly, completely LOVE card based games!

From Yu-Gi-Oh! to Pokemon Trading Card Game.

From Card Fighter's Clash to PSO III: Card Revolution.

Baten Kaitos to Culdcept.

The only one I couldn't completely get into was the Marvel Trading Card game...

...Hell, I even played Battles of Prince of Persia for a while!

Any others I am forgetting?

There is the SNK Vs Capcom one for the DS. And the MGS ones for the PSP.

Played the SNK one for the DS, HOWEVER, there was a game-breaking glitch once you got a significant ways into it. Something like a character you would have to fight would disappear or something. You couldn't proceed. SNK never released a fixed version. They just kept the broken version in stores, for sale! You had to buy it, send your game to them and they would send you one that worked.

I thought that sucked --AND-- the game wasn't even as good as the Neo Geo Pocket version, so I returned the game to the store and never gave it a second thought.

Yeah, I was fortunate enough to get the later version that was fixed.  I kind of wanted the broken one for collecting reasons, but I never encountered the glitch.
