Wind Waker and Metroid Prime. Metroid Prime is factually the best ever GameCube game, though. Factually.

It would be, but RE4 exists so its not.

RE4 easily the best game on GC and the best game of that generation.

RE4 isn't a GameCube game. It's an every console ever invented post-PS2 game.

And Metroid Prime is better.

Really should have been RE4. But if we're going by exclusives, the answer is obviously Harvest Moon: Magical Melody.

Hard to decide, so many good games, F-Zero, Paper Mario, The Metroid games, RE4.

I think RE4 or Metroid Prime. But I also have a fond spot for Rogue Squadron 2.

Metroid Prime is the only correct answer.

I've always wondered if I should give Prime another shot. I've tried it before, but only made it a few hours. Metroid really just never clicks for me for some reason. I think the only reason I ever made it through the first two is I just had nothing else to play.

The GC just had too many good, memorable games.  I think I would rank Luigi's Mansion and F-Zero GX pretty high.  Metroid Prime was very good, but to say it was the best game?  I don't think I could chose one game that clearly stands above all the others.  Viewtifull Joe comes to mind, Wind Waker, Wave Race Blue Storm, even Ikaruga and PN.03.

I've always regretted selling Luiis Mansion and Wave Race.

I also sold back LM. Not sure for what though.

RE4 is the absolute best gaem on GC. For a nintendo published game I'd go for Animal Crossing.  That bitch owned my life for 2 years.

Also, I join Robio on the Metroid Prime confusion. I have tried several times and just don't get it. And I beat Metroid II, so I should have been ripe for it.

As for Wind Waker. I've tried several times. I am just not a Zelda afficiando. I came close to beating the DS one (in hte wind waker style) and just could not hang.

RE4 for non-exclusive, Smash Bros. for exclusive.  And don't feel bad, aspro; Wind Waker is overrated and Phantom Hourglass is outright bad.

RE4 for non-exclusive. It's the only answer.

Gamecube had a lot of great games like Dirt to Daytona, Mario Golf, NBA Jam, NFL Blitz.  I think Animal Crossing would still take it for best Nintendo game though. Sunshine sucked ass (sorry Raven).

I think that the problem with Sunshine is that while it had some really great levels, it also had some very bad ones which clearly lacked the level of pollish everyone expects from a main Mario game.  I have some very fond memories of playing that game, but I also have some memories from playing that game that will haunt me for the rest of my life.

Metroid Prime was one of my favorite GCN games of all time.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)
