REVIEW: Doom Dark Ages
8/10 "a fun and flashy shooter stuffed with engaging content - it's a thrill-ride from beginning to end. "thesixthaxis.com impressions aspro
I'm a bit skeptical that we've seen no gameplay. I almost don't believe the graphics will look like that in gameplay. Like the Yakuza 0 cutscenes vs gameplay.
I'm still amazed that Scottish developers are.so good at making games that on the surface feel very American. At least their British humour is satirical.
Probably won’t look that good in gameplay so I am expecting a downgrade in that department. I still expect it to look pretty good enough though.
I had high hopes for the Blue Prince, but wasn't aware that it involved repetitious tedious small puzzles in the rooms. I would have been content if linking rooms was all there was to it. Also, I really don't like the artstyle. It looks like it was drawn in sketchup, making it look like work to me.

Yeah, I was really surprised by Foolz's impressions.

Sounds like something I should listen too. I just finished the main quest of Blue Prince and still doing the extra stuff and I have my issues with the game but overall it is great. The RNG though really holds it back, it could have been in the upper tier of puzzle games. That said there really isnt repetitive puzzles in the rooms outside like two rooms, what it is is trying to solve multiple puzzles that involve observing or interating with certain things across many different rooms and just hoping RNG lets you get what you need.

Rockstar never gives BS shots. The angles are obviously specifically picked but its real time and had plenty of gameplay. That trailer is mind blowing. Leaps and bounds ahead of anything graphically. It looks like a game from 5-10 years from now.
Who's playing Expedition 33? Masterpiece of a game, I think the best turn based combat system ever put in a JRPG style game. It really feels every bit as good as a big budget FF game. A must play for any fans of that style of game.

I saw your response to a guy on Resetera who questioned the big booties in the game trailer . Vader was like "Thats the most accurate part." Lol

Real time to me isn't in engine cutscenes. It's actual gameplay from the same viewpoint you use in the game, walking, driving, shooting or whatever.
Like you said it looks like a game so far ahead of all other games, that's precisely why it's hard to believe. Maybe they just have the budget and time to put so much detail into every nook and cranny.

And all it takes is a decade and a limitless budget!

I am and the game is fantastic. Still in Act 2 but so far this is my GotY. Looks gorgeous, has an amazing soundtrack, really fun and engaging gameplay, cool story, well written, and well voice acted.
Nintendolife is doing this web cast, they are saying that Switch 2 gameshare doesn't have other consoles download a small data packet or portion of a game.
They are saying that from an interview, but they don't seem certain - that when using gameshare one Switch 2 runs everything and it beams out the game in video form like the Wii U gamepad technology.

How about scuba diving?
Yes
Maybe even an arcade and coffee bar. KK Slider can perform for us, right, GG?
Just finished listening to the latest GUpodcast.

Still can't bring myself to sell off Switch Animal Crossing.
Did you try the DLC,?
I think my wife did.
I think it was for her.

That's how I always assumed it to work. How else could you share to an original Switch?
