Recently got the platinum trophy for Octopath Traveler 0. Very long but great game. This weekend I’ve just been playing Vampire Survivors. Mindless, addictive fun until I figure out what game I want to play next.
We went on a ski trip so I didn't have time to play anything. My wife did try out the Animal Crossing upgrade.
Aw man... We won't be going skiing this year due to a confluence of different reasons. My wallet is audibly sighing in relief, but it's something that will be missed dearly.

Only the three children, my two and my nephew skied. It was their first time. I did it years ago but since my hip replacement I've had no desire to be so adventurous.
Over 85 million The Witcher games sold
01/19/26 - CD Projekt Red has sold more than 85 million games of its The Witcher series worldwide to date. This is confirmed by CEO Michal Nowakowski on X. The sales figures of the three games at a glance:
- The Witcher (PC): 10 million copies
- The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Xbox 360, PC): 15 million copies
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC): 60 million copies
I'd be really curious to see what the price breakdown is for The Witcher 3 sales. The base game floats between $20 to $5 whenever it's on sale for at least 5 or 6 years now. I still need to check it out. One of these days. The closest I've come to playing it was that Witcher DLC for monster Hunter world.
Did anyone try playing Wolfenstein 2 in stealth mode? Trying to take guards out Splinter Cell style? Is it even possible to do a whole level without being spotted?
I've been making some good progress in 'The Lair of the Clockwork God'. The humour is pretty good, as is the gameplay. Different constructs (levels) are based on different human emotions, ranging from joy, to fear, disappointment to 'feeling old' The puzzle bits aren't too bewildering. I think I've looked something up twice. One time it was something I'd never have thought of, the second time it seemed very obvious in hindsight.
I'm forcing myself to get better with gyro steering in Gran Turismo 7 VR. My only issue with it is there's no option to adjust the gyro sensitivity, which feels a bit too low. Otherwise it feels a bit more like a steering a real car. Wish I had room for a proper racing wheel setup.
Now we have to live with a grammatical error in the post title. You call that fixed? YOU CALL THAT FIXED?!?
Actually, "its" is correct grammatically since "its" is possessive. "It's" is a contraction of "it is" and the sentence, "Which Videogame Franchise Do You Feel is Not Living Up to it is Potential?" doesn't make much sense. However, "Which Videogame Franchise Do You Feel is Not Living Up to its Potential?" Reads much better due to the franchise owning its potential.
Side note: It drives me nuts that autocorrect always changes my "its" to "it's" like it knows better.

No, GG, no desire to do that.

Travo, I can’t open your new thread in the Gaming Discussion forum because it has an apostrophe in the title.
I can't seem to access it to edit it.
you can change the ? into an apostrophe in the URL and it'll load.
Ok, it's fixed.

That Developer Direct from Microsoft was very good. Forza Horizon 6 and Fable both look awesome. Beast of Reincarnation looked pretty cool as well.
