GGs vehicle got hit by a guy in a black helmet, wasn't me lol. I hope everything gets resolved well GG.
Anyone get Animal Well? It's the indie darling of the month and it's really good if you love something like Fez, lots of platforming puzzles, Metroid style exploration and so many secrets that are several layers deep. I have been wowed at how many uses the items you get have, it's Zelda TOTK like in that I am like "wait I could do that?!". Brilliant game so far.
I am finally starting up Dragons Dogma 2, let's see how this goes.
Adventure search games are not my cup of tea. Sounds good though.
I got the new mini pc and set it up for the normal family computer use. Which means I am hooking up my graming PC to the TV...
Windows 10 has hated my AMD Radeon 5600 from day one. It's not decided it does not exists and I don't need the drivers anymore. Fuck Windows!
I am battling it now.
What mini PC did you get? I've been interested in getting one for retro emulation, but I've heard some of those mini PCs come with pre-installed malware, which has made me leary.
Yeah, lots of PC's do. Its called Windows.
Fair point.
Been continuing playing Eiyuden Chronicle this weekend. It’s kind of both good and “meh” at the same time. There’s a lot of stopping and talking in the game and most of it tends to be pretty pointless or uninteresting. Story and characters are largely pretty bland. Combat can be a bit frustrating and seems a bit unfair at times with enemies usually targeting already downed characters so unless you revive them with full health they’ll get killed right away again. Bosses sometimes have a “gimmick” to them but they can be random. For instance one boss goes underground and will pop up on either the left or right. If you choose the wrong side then that can end up being a wasted attack. Pretty middling game so far that I’d probably give like a 6.5 to.
I've been playing Another Crab's Treasure. My GamePass subscription ends on the 26th, but I have no illusions that I'll beat the game by then. Perhaps I'll sub for one month longer as that'd be cheaper than buying the game.
It's the first shoalslike I play and while I enjoy the setting and the challenge, I've noticed that I perform best when I ban all emotion and just calmly read the tells and get in the flow. It's a strange experience, to play a game like that, nearly as a robot. But the setting and writing are enjoyable, so I'm planning to see this one through.

I'm definitely feeling the same way. There's still plenty being released for the Xbone, I feel no need to get with the times whatsoever.
I guess it's not only cross-gen, but also the succes of the Switch. If you're aiming to release on Switch as well, why not also release on last gen home consoles?
This, plus where's the killer apps? Nothing has really wowed me.
