I think I'm the same way. I will spend a lot of time on side quests, but once I commit to finish a game, I usually call it quits after that, unless there is some kind of path opens for the "true ending," like the Dragon Quest games usually have.

I think the notable exceptions for me in recent years have been Judgement and one or two of the other Yakuza games, or you can go back and revisit the side quests. And I suppose I'm doing it right now with Astrobot. I'm not going to go over the full completion, but I still want to mess around with a few levels and rescue a few of the other bots I missed during the original run.

I want to be excited for this, but I have never liked an Arc System fighting game. For whatever reason, I just never clicked with the controls they put in for their games.

So not to be a dick, but I kind of hope this game sucks so that I'm not missing out on anything.

I’m probably 60-40 on finishing side quests after the main story with 60 being dropping the game after main story and 40 being finishing side quests.

I drop a game like a hot potato once the final boss is defeated.

Me too. Even if I really love the world in the game I always mainline gameplay and ginore sidequests and after credit content.  There have been some exceptions, but probably less than 5 in my life.

Blunty has posted some excellent Cyberpunk 2077 Switch2 footage.

He sometimes splices in PC footage into the background while he waffles, so I thought I was looking at the PC version a lot of the time. Impressed that it was all.Switch 2

Haven't watched it on the big tv yet.

My Switch 2 is coming today in 5 hours.

Spawn Wave

SwitchUp

GVG

GameXplain

SwitchCorner

Comparison footage for games is coming out for switch 1 enhanced games, free updates. Oh shit the No Man's Sky's switch 2 update looks glorious.

PSA

You can only do a switch 1 to 2 system transfer on the initial boot up sequence.

If you don't the only way to do it later is to factory reset your Switch 2.

It seems to transfer profiles and save data as well as your digital collection.

It appears it removes some save data from your Switch 1, probably the stuff that you can't move about on switch 1.

And leaves the rest of the save data so you can still use your switch 1.

If you do the online method your switch 1 will be wiped of everything.

Got to see this video in 4k

No Man's Sky switch 2 is a free update but they've totally reworked the game. Very crisp and clean.

Honestly impressed with how it looks. May have to try the demo again.

Awesome.

Just a video, Switch2 downloads games much faster than Switch 1.

When downloading BOTW Switch 1 took an additional 10 minutes.

I can't believe I made it. This was me trying trying to make my way to this day, through numerous posts about cancellations and delays and tarriff nonsense.

I just walked into a toystore and picked up a Switch2 with Mario Kart.

How does it compare to the OLED? Did you ever get hands on with the OLED?

This console is the nicest looking product Nintendo has ever put out. It's beautiful. The screen is HUGE and the visuals so crisp, makes switch 1 look like a kids toy. Honestly can't imagine letting kids handle this thing, it feels like $400. On dock mode I feel I lose some color, I don't know if it's something with my OLED, or maybe on handheld they have color and contrast up all the way or something. Odyssey looks incredible. Zelda echoes now runs silky smooth through areas where there were frame drops. Metroid looks better.  Oh the joycons feel much more sturdy and the magnets are so good. Still I rather use my pro controller. Oh and rumble much better.

Mario Kart is a ton of fun, especially the elimination mode. That's where you travel from one track to another and lose 4 racers at each checkpoint. Basically it's a survival mode. The tracks are lively with tons going on. Game looks nice, runs beautifully. Online ran perfectly for me and it's so chaotic. Now with 24 racers it's wild shit happening, I went from 3rd place to last in line 4 seconds. The free roam seems to have little things to do and hard to reach items, I like it so far but they could have put much more and better content there. Oh online mode needs some kind of ranking system, or progress or anything. It's just race against randoms.
