I've only tried the Witcher 3 offscreen, but once you add a low sharpening effect it doesn't look bad. The cutscenes all look great.
I've just got back to Dogtown in Cyberpunk and you understand more and can play more intelligently.
I grabbed the games most powerful sniper rifle from that find the ring mission and it fires explosive bullets. So you can take out huge drones in a few shots and those heavy gunners in 2 to 3 shots.
Not had much success upgrading iconic weapons. I never seem to have enough components. I always pick up all weapons and components from dead enemies. Is there a way to get more and better quality components?
Extremely sad news today. Ozzy Osbourne has passed away at the age of 76. Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne was one of my all time favourite bands and singer while I was growing up and continued to this day.
I have some leftover credit left on the eshop, npw the summer sale is on.
I know it's a crapshoot, but I was wondering if I should get The Sinking City? I know Robio said it was a shit show, so I've been looking to see if it ran any better on Switch 2, but I can't find any info.
And I thought maybe they would eventually release the remastered version on Switch2 and have a free upgrade option.
As a kid, I remember thinking Ozzy Osbourne was the scariest man in the world. I definitely bought into that satanic panic hype around him. But it's funny how that perception of him completely changed after the Osbornes ran on MTV.
He and Sharon both spoke about how they had an agreement for medically assisted suicide, and I think in the next few days we'll hear that was the case with him. And good for him. He gave one last amazing concert that was never going to be topped and then go out on his own terms. I don't think anyone could ask for more than that.

I would just avoid it. When it came out on the switch, there was a really weird fight going on between the publisher and the developer over money and control of the game. I don't know if it ever really got resolved, but the end result was the worst version of the game available. I wouldn't even risk a switch to upgrade. It's better to let that game die.

Google AI kept saying it was remastered on switch. Then with further digging they said it wasn't a remastered new version. It was remastered through updates.
Sounds fishy.
Some footage looks decent, but then the old town with mist looks terrible.
You know, I didn't realise how much I'd appreciate palling around with digital versions of real life actors, in Cyberpunk.
I'm not the biggest fan of Keanu Reeves or Idris Elba, but they are great In the game and it brings more life and personality to the game being with them.
Rather than playing as, them
At one point I thought, I wouldn't mind having a sarcastic Keanu Reeves making pithy comments during my every day life.
I'd like to play more games with big or bigger movie stars in them, accompanying you.

Yeah, I also really enjoy seeing big name actors in my games as well. That’s one big aspect that I’m looking forward to in Cyberpunk 2077, seeing Keanu Reeves and Indris Alba in the game.
Wouldn't mind joining Tom Cruise as part of the Mission Impossible team.
I'd rather be a team member with him as the mentor than play as him.
That's one of the things that bugs me about the new RoboCop game. You need to see RoboCop, the suit as you play. In first person it could be any FPS. Especially when he picks up different weapons.

They've really got long extended roles too, it's no cameo, Reeves is present most of the game.
It's always fun when he pops up at random moments doing stupid stuff or bitching about how things were done in his day.
I played some Ikari Warriors on 7800 today. I never had this one back in the day. It's brutal! The NES version is a cakewalk in comparison.
One thing I really like about the 7800 version is that if you hold the fire button, it locks you into whatever direction you are facing, allowing you to strafe easily. I'll be playing it some more tonight..
I can't stop playing Banaza. Sixteen hours in and over 300 bananas.

R.I.P. Ozzy Osbourne.

RIP Ozzy. Good he got to have his last final hurrah a couole of weeks ago
RIP to Ozzy. I remember my mom and other church members were concerned about his music during the satanic panic days.

Be like your buddy, Rob, and get Date Everything.

The summer switch eshop sale has started.
Over 4200 games on sale.
153 from my wishlist. Some are new all time low prices.
If you're interested there's Eldest Souls, a highly rated pixel art souls like game for under $2
Sludge life is this weird retro looking 3D adventure game for under $3
Little Orpheus is under $3 a 2.5d cinematic platformer
Okinawa rush is around $6 I played the demo before it was removed. Seems to be a pixel Heart published game, same group as Ganryu 2.
Little Nightmares 2 for under $3
Tons more too. I picked up Witcher 3 complete as I'm greatly enjoying Cyberpunk
So this is pretty cool, a guy sent Digital Foundry a message saying Hitman had a secret performance mode on switch 2.
Basically they then tested it and found that using system settings, by dropping the resolution output to 1080p or 720p the framerate went up.
At 720p it even went up to 60fps. It seems like it's a system level thing.
I haven't read the full write up but it sounds like DLSS does a lot of the heavy lifting.
It's also relevant in the Nintendo Switch 2 welcome tour story above.
