I miss the "jump through the painting" trope.

For hidden weapons and stuff that's fine. But they actually hide things you need to progress the level. Once you've cleared out all the enemies it feels like a big escape room game.

Hmm Scrap Riders beat em up mechanics feel off.

The controls and hit detection are too sluggish. The AI pummels you to the floor then repeatedly knocks you over when you want to stand up.

I can't work out how to pick up ammo, nothing works.

I think its the analogue controls that are the main problem. Should be fine on the dpad. Still need a pro controller variant with a decent dpad.

After finishing Wolfenstein II, I decided to give South Park: The Fractured But Whole a spin. I'm glad I did. What have you been playing this weekend?

I've been playing Pokémon Unbound. It's actually a fan-made game that uses Pokemon fire Red as the engine, and basically added all the different pokémon up until like gen 8. It's very fast-paced and a very impressive undertaking.

Been playing Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake this weekend. Love the visuals. Also finished my first game of this year which was Still Wakes The Deep. It was, ok. Very much inspired by John Carpenter’s The Thing. Played it through Game Pass and it wouldn’t a game I would have purchased. Probably give it like a 6/10.
