I tend to remember periods of my life based on gaming generations. Like, oh that was the N64 generation when I was at school etc
I go with whatever system was most prominent to my gaming experience for that gen. The NES, SNES, PS1, PS2, 360, and Xbox One were my most played systems during those gens so I’ll generally just use those when referring to gens.

I think everything Pre-NES as Golden Age, and everything else as generations with whatever consoles that came out during that period (e.g., WiiPS360 generation).

I know how the generation system works, but I can never think of the corresponding ones off the top of my head. I just know that the Atari 2600 and coleco are generation 2. After that I have to start counting Nintendo consoles to figure things out. And even that kind of breaks down a little bit once you hit the Wii u.

Yeah I always need to double check on the generation numbers as well so typically refrain from using them.

Here's an easy to remember console generation formula:

PS[console number]+4=Gen

PS1+4= 5th gen.

PS5+4=9th Gen.

So with Microsoft, we can just add +5.

Ok, so Xbox 1+5=6 gen

And Xbox 360+5=Ok don't work

I beat Elderand and saw an interesting ending. Then learned there are 3 different endings to get. I then released a time traveler, went to a different t land, fought a younger version of the time traveler.

Unleashed a corruption that turned a friend into an evil boss. Wore a special ring to see and defeat this corruption. Now I have to beat the final boss again and presumably beat the "final" boss.

20 hrs of fun here.

Split fiction getting incredible reviews, looks amazing but who do I play with. My night schedule makes it hard for anyone in my country, I play in the middle of the night. I may need to play with one of you on another time zone.

Sackboy (PS5) is so good. I'm really loving this game. Difficulty is increasing as well; it's about on par with Mario 3D World now. The collect everything addiction is real.
