Yeah GameKeyCards seem to be the worst of both world. Their only usecase is that they can be sold on. And you get a box to put on your shelf, if you're into that kind of thing.
I wonder what their resale value is? I doubt it would be much.

You can lend them out I guess with no time limits.

Another thing that worries me. At first I thought I would buy GKCs, then sell and rebuy the same game digital on sale.
But now I'm wondering what the resale value is on them. Digital games drop so quickly these days.
So you know the gold points on the Nintendo eshop are gone right? You used to be able to get 10% back in points and given the low price of some indie games you could nab an extra game or two just using points.
But now I've learned if you buy your credit and certain places they get a 10% kickback from Nintendo and they give you half of it in cash back. That's held in a balance which you can use to buy more using the site, or literally just withdraw it.
In the UK there's an app called Jam Doughnut.
Worldwide there's this site called Top cash back. And this cash back covers all sorts of retailers so you can save every where.

Change of strategy: Sony withdraws PlayStation games from PC
04.03.26 - Sony Group Corp. is no longer planning PC conversions of major PlayStation 5 games, according to people familiar with the strategy. This is reported by the business service Bloomberg.
The move marks a return to console exclusivity after six years of multi-platform releases. In the future, single-player games such as Ghost of Yotei and the announced Saros will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 5. Online titles such as Marathon remain available across platforms.
Two games developed by external studios but published by PlayStation, Death Stranding 2 and Kena: Scars of Kosmora, are still set to release on PC this year. A spokesman did not comment.
The reasons are weak sales of several PC versions as well as internal concerns that the brand could suffer and hardware sales could be affected. Since 2020, Sony had brought numerous brands to PCs via Steam, including God of War and The Last of Us. However, the publications were inconsistent in terms of time. Competitors are pursuing different models: Nintendo relies on exclusivity, Microsoft publishes across platforms.

IGN: Pokémon Pokopia Becomes the Highest-Rated Pokémon Game of All-Time
Pokémon Pokopia has become the highest-rated Pokémon game of all time on Metacritic
The building and town simulator is sitting on a Metascore of 88 on Metacritic. That not only makes it one of the highest-reviewed games of the year so far — it's currently sitting alongside Mewgenics, RPG Estoreic Ebb, and Resident Evil Requiem — but that also makes it the highest-rated Pokémon game ever.
While Pokémon Y also has an 88 Metascore, Pokémon X has an 87, slightly lowering the average across both 2013 3DS games. That means Pokopia also pips Pokémon Moon, Pokémon HeartGold, Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon etc
Pokémon Pokopia sees you play as a Ditto that has transformed to look like a human and must shape an empty land into a beautiful space for a variety of Pokémon. You'll learn new moves from Pokémon you meet to expand and create a paradise, collecting berries, rocks, and wood, as well as building furniture, growing vegetables in fields you’ve tilled, creating homes for Pokémon you meet, and more.
IGN's Pokémon Pokopia review returned a 9. We said: "Pokémon Pokopia is an enjoyable, personality-packed building simulator set in a surprisingly deep world that is stuffed with fun things for its delightful Ditto protagonist to do and create." It's out on March 5 exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2.
I wonder what their resale value is? I doubt it would be much.

Has it been 9 years already? Crazy.
I say that's bullshit.
That’d be crazy if true.

My dog Jasmine March 3, 2017 (age 2) vs March 3, 2026 (age 11). She has salt and pepper fur now just like me.
Didn't you get her shortly after a car accident? She has been quite a good friend.
Shortly before. My accident was in late June 2017. She's my best friend.
Bull sherbet!
Thanks auto correct.
