Did anyone watch the SpaceX spacesuit test live? I managed to allign my lunchbreak with the first 'walk'. It was both very much so and very unspectacular.
We know the basic ray tracing capabilities. We know the form factor, the magnetic joycons, the dock fans. Some leaders have given a ballpark idea of what they were aiming for, 4k at 30fps.
The cpu is relatively unknown and the cartridge format is still uncertain. If it uses this NAND tech one cart can store loads of data, so hopefully you won't have these huge installs.
I beat Final Fight and Knights of the Round.
KOTOR is decent, bit the lack of a charge and throw move make it a little bland.
I didn't want to go straight into The King of Dragon's so I started Warriors of Fate and was pleasantly suprised.
I was of the opinion that nothing comes close to Final Fight, the Punisher etc but this does so far.
It has all the requisites like punches, throws, grapple moves. But it has alternative controls for other moves giving you a much better handle and options as.to what to use. You can press down and jump to charge, there's a special move up and down and punch to do a powerful strike. It also has the punch and attack usual super move which takes some of your health.
You can ride horses, flip the horses direction, charge on your horse. The pixel.art is lovely and the Chinese esque aesthetic is great.
I will concede on a lot of this once it's announced. But I did a little homework earlier, and I still see conflicting things from different sites. Granted, most of the hardware specs are above my head anyway, so I wouldn't know what looks like bullshit versus what looks like it might be right. But at the end of the day I still don't really know who to believe on it. And that's fine. In my world, the only thing that matters about the next switch console is whether or not there's a miiverse.
They only downside was having to wait for each of them to download updates, sign in to the publisher's server and skip all the DLC nag screen--er, wait, none of that happened. how refreshing!
You had me for a second. I was thinking to myself, "how long can an update for a 7800 possibly be?"
New rumors today, the dude who predicted the apple event date and ps5 pro date and price based on his sources, says switch 2 will be announced early October at $400 with two skus.
If there are two skus the main difference should be the screen. OLED vs no OLED.
With dock, without dock.
That or they get with the times an announce a digital only version. With a seperate add-on so you can still have it read cartridges if you want.
Good thing it's Nintendo and it'll take them at least another 2 generations to get to that point.
I'll go with DF's take. Sony realizes it's a niche product that won't grow it's audience, so they priced it as such. An expensive thing for the die hards for whom price is no issue and on which they can actually make a profit per unit sold.
I wouldn't mind an all digital console these days, but I'd want the cart slot to play the cart games from switch 1.
Unless there was a way to convert them to digital or get a digital licence or something for free.
My problem with all digital is the file sizes of modern games means you never have enough storage to store your whole collection.
Don’t think Concord affected the price of the PS5 Pro at all but I can definitely see that it might have been a part of the showcase that they cut.
I'll stick with it then. Typicaly I don't like time loop games. When I played it a few days ago, I could not realy figure out where to go next.
Finished Astro Bot and 100% it for the platinum trophy. Not as good as the Super Mario games but excellent game nonetheless. Definitely a GotY contender but Final Fantasy VII Rebirth still beats it out for that for me. Hope it does well as I would like to see them carry on to an Astro Bot 2.
Also bought and tried this excellent sequel to an old Shinobi like game Ganryu 2.
It's only £2.67 and it's excellent.
Really has a great move set and has precise combat and platforming.
It's like old school Shinobi, only it moves several times as fast, it feels modern in how it controls.
Only flaw so far is that you only have a few lives. It does have checkpoints, but once you've died a few times you have to start from the first level.
I may be mistaken as there is this map shown and I don't think I've seen it again to denote reaching the 2nd level yet.
When I beat the first level boss I ended up on a Minecart level, I assumed it was level 2 but may have been a continuation of the first.
There's loads of great deals on the eshop right now. Thinking of getting Party Hard 2 and a few others.

Even when it mirrors your phone screen, most media (videos) you screen has the correct tv ratio with no borders.
It's sometimes a little laggy but much better than the cloud gaming I tried.
So my problem with my phone is that the controllers for it are too expensive and I was looking for a frame to hold the phone like a switch. Plus my phone is a huge Fold phone so getting the right mount isn't easy.
I was looking for a retro controller for Switch arcade games, and some work with switch and android. Or android plus Xbox or PlayStation.
So basically if you have a phone and a Netflix sub you can download and play a whole host of indie games at no extra cost from the Google or Apple store.
So now, if I get a controller I can simply cast to the tv and use the controller to play as if it's a home console.
Isn't this somewhat revolutionary? A console small enough to fit in a pocket that can cast to any modern tv with no dock?
I know even Apples latest still doesn't run AAA at anything like optimal performance. But for 2D games, indie games it looks like a solid option to cast it to your TV.
Can't you attach any bluetooth controller to it that you have lying around? I can imagine with a little searching online, you coukd even get a joycon to pair with your phone.
GT2 Bleemcast rocked.
Side note: I only played the Arcade mode in GT games until GT6. I simply had no interest in buying/upgrading cars back then. I wanted Ridge Racer with better physics, more tracks and cars.
I'd like go back to GT2 and GT3 and play them more fully someday.
