I always have a hard time grasping that Final Fantasy 7 is considered the first relevant game in the series. The original was a pretty popular NES game. Sold over a million copies worldwide, and actually sold more in the United States than in Japan. And I think if you disregard pack-ins, it's it's one of the top 50 selling games on the console.

FF7 was the most popular RPG at the time of its release, but I wouldn't consider it the first relevant game in the series. That's silly. I liked FF6 more anyway.
There's a rumoured Lego Zelda set in the works featuring the Decu Tree. It will include green or pink leaves so you can model it after the Deku Tree from OoT or Botw. There'll be minifigures representing both games as well. All for a measily €299.
My kids will be all over this. Wish it was a less pricy set though. Also, there are more differences in design between OoT and Botw's Deku Tree than just the colour of the leaves?
Tried Another Crab's Treasure again yesterday. Still couldn't beat the first boss (blue knight like lobster when you get your first 'shell'). I've improved though. But then again, I'm expecting to feel no accomplishment when I beat him, just relief. Not sure if that'll be enough to keep playing though.
Yesterday I hooked up my Wii U for the first time in a while, and I logged on to the eShop to download some of my older purchases. Apparently I still had $2.10 in credit in there. That's not enough or anything at all, but I still wish I had realized that a year ago before everything shut down.
That reminds me. I probably should sell my Wii U. I don't play it and I have most of those games on Switch now.
But will it become a an expensive collectors item a decade from now? An Atari Jaguar costs $400+ now and it was largely considered a POS. I'd like a similar Wii U payday.
The Wii U is going to be a hard one to predict. In 20 years it well may be worth something since total sales were only 15 million, give or take? It's not showing any signs of being a collector's item right now though, since about 80% of the library is also on the Switch now. And even that may go up. Kirby's Rainbow Curse is getting ported, and that was one of the games I thought that would be locked on the Wii U forever.
Same here. Had a little left on my Wii and Wii U accounts but it wasn’t enough for me to purchase anything that I wanted. Still hanging on to my Wii and Wii U. Still got a few games that I keep telling myself that I’ll get around to playing but probably never will.
Looked at my collection last night. I bet if I completely stopped buying games today, it would take me 10+ years finish my backlog.
I’m glad I’m not the only one. Will be adding another one to the pile when I buy Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the Switch in the next 9 days.
I realised some time ago I would not even be able to get through even my Dreamcast and PS1 backlog if I retired immediately.

I'd sell all of my Wii and Wii U consoles and games today if it was easy enough to do.

Everyone knows that Mystic Quest was the first relevant Final Fantasy game, and still the only relevant one to be honest.![Nyaa](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
Well it did have a pretty kick ass soundtrack right? Right?![LOL](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Bunch of new demos dropped on the eshop, like Blade Dancer and others.
A bit depressing, all indie games, they had great artwork, music and novel concepts.
But were completely crippled by terrible control schemes. Why shoot yourself in the foot?
I really wish the xbox360 digital store would sell Batman: Arkham Origins
Same here. Only Arkham game I didn’t play and kind of want to now.
I wonder how many others have done the same thing; how much free money Nintendo has kept. Millions probably.

I know I had around a dollar left on the Wii store back in the day. So Nintendo has gotten free money from me a couple times now.
