This weekend I'm still exploring Skyrim and I started playing Fallout 1. Seems GOG/Bethesda updated Fallout 1; it's far less glitchy than The last time I tried it and it plays in 1080p widescreen without mods now. đ
Didn't play a thing. I've actually gone through almost all of my backlog (at least what I intend to play). So now I'm scratching my head figuring out what's next.
I've been playing Cocoon. Still no challenge. There have been a few clever ideas. The game is indicating that I've already played through 90%, so a few clever ideas isn't really cutting it.
I've also played some Tetris99 after a very long time. Came in first twice.
Any Rick & Morty fans here? Since the series creator Roiland was accused of sexual harassment (or domestic violence, can't remember), the series cut all ties with him. Too bad he's also the voice of both Rick and Morty. A trailer for the new Roiland-less season aired last week and I must say I couldn't hear any difference between Roiland voiced or Roiland-less characters. I wonder if Netflix is using some kind of AI magic for this, or if they really did find such good mimics. Anyhow, looking forward to the next season which releases next week.

Its amazing to me how diverse the American landscape is. Even where I live where I can drive two hours in one direction and enjoy the beach or two hours in the other direction to enjoy a snowy, mountain landscape. I've only traveled to about 18-19 states so there's still so much to see.

Wow, PS5 Slim digital-only is a scam. The Slim digital-only model will be $449 in the US ($50 more than the current one). And if you want to have it vertical, a separate vertical stand costs another $20. If you want to add a disk drive later, that'll cost you another $79. WTF?
At least the Slim Disc Drive model is still the same price as the current one at $499 (without a vertical stand now). I'm glad I bought mine when I did!
I'm surprised by this. I would have thought Sony would want to encourage people to buy the digital model so they can make more money selling digital games. This seems to be the opposite approach. Reminds me of the gimped Xbox 360 Arcade system.
I think that this just proves MS's point: current climate doesn't allow for mid-gen refreshes or drastic price cuts as prices for silicon aren't falling like they used to. Personally I think a smaller console is a good thing. Not so much for the space savings, but for the lesser impact on the environment. I also think that the option to swap in a disc reader is a good evolution. Charging for the stand however is pure robbery.

when I traveled it was amazing, this country is incredibly diverse.
