29.09.23 - It is becoming more and more apparent that the development of the role-playing game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake (PS5, PC) has been suspended or even discontinued.
The announcement trailer has now been deleted on YouTube. PlayStation has also deleted its September 2021 announcement tweet. The tweet from Lucasfilm Games is still available and contains a link to the private or deleted trailer.
In August 2022, it was announced that Saber Interactive had taken over the development work of Aspyr Media. The parent company Embracer Group has not commented on the current state of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake. Thus, it remains unclear what the status of the game is.

I finally found some time to play Jedi Survivor. I hate pkaying it in small chunks because its a game that you to just carry on a discover something new. Great game.
Been pretty much solely focused on Lies of P. It’s quite a difficult game and can be frustrating at times but it’s still so damn good. It’s got fantastic atmosphere and pretty tight gameplay. Easily the best “Souls like” game I’ve played not from FromSoftware. A combination of Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Sekiro and great take on the Pinocchio franchise. Pretty much near the final boss now so hoping to finish it very soon.
I bought Doom 3 again on Gog for $4 today. I bought it solely because it includes the original 2004 release of Doom 3, which I have never played. I played the original Xbox port and PS4 BFG Edition. Classic Doom 3 is dark. Very dark. The darker graphics actually look better to me; BFG Edition almost looks washed out in comparison. Not being able to use the flashlight and a gun at the same time is a lot more intense, more of a survival horror feel. Sure it's an unrealistic mechanic for game set in the future with space ships and warp tunnels, but it works well at building tension nontheless (and how many games have unrealistic mechanics? All of them). I'm enjoying it more than I thought. I wasn't planning on doing a full playthrough so soon after my BFG playthrough a couple years ago, but I'm hooked now.

Playing Skyrim SE with Survival Mode enabled is nuts (in a good way). Kinda feels more like an early 90s CRPG now.

I remember that playthrough because I became interested and started Doom 3 on Xbox and loved it.
