This weekend has been mostly Street Fighter 6 Arcade mode (PS5). I tried World Tour mode today. Yeah, it's not for me. Arcade mode is enough. I'm getting better at the game. Since I didn't like the World Tour mode, I had to buy the classic costumes for all the original characters instead of unlocking them for $12. Worth it.
Also been playing Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge (Switch). I played this to death back in the day on the Saturn. Still great fun.
This weekend I beat Tears of the Kingdom. Absolutely fantastic game and still have more left to do in it. Also played more Street Fighter 6 and returned to Spider-Man Remastered. May be able to finish that before Final Fantasy XVI comes out. I need to make some room for that game.
Still chipping away at Yakuza 0 here. Thoroughly enjoying being a real estate mogul, a cabaret manager, and hanging out with a guy who runs around in his whitey-tighties and calls himself Mr. Libido.
Played an hour of bad company. For a short game it's taking me a while to beat it. No time for games makes aspro a dull boy.
Set up the Wii with a CRT TV, put in Xenoblade Chronicles, skipped intro, played 30 seconds of tutorial, then turned off Wii because otherwise I'd have no time to write. A strangely satisfying experience. Enjoy the small victories when you get them!
If you go back and look at any old ads for Showbiz or Chuck e Cheese, there's always a mom eating a salad. I guarantee you no Mom was ever happy with the salad at those places.
I finished Zelda! I love that me and Travo were kind of on the same path the entire time. I have a few more shrines to go and some treasures and quests to do though. The final stretch of the game is epic in ways Zelda usually isn't wow.
All set for FF16 now, what a year!
Oh there are rumors of a Nintendo Direct this week and a leaker is saying new 2D Mario and a remake of an SNES classic. What could it be!?
Would definitely love to see a new 2D Mario game come out. Obviously that leaker screwed up with that classic remake news. StarTropics is an NES game, not an SNES game.
I've seen Super Mario RPG mentioned, but I think Earthbound remade in the style of the Switch version of Link's Awakening would be a pretty big deal.
Of course, there's always a remake of the unreleased Star Tropics 3 for the SNES. But since that never got an official release, I'm pretty sure they're not going to do that. I mean, the next gen Star Tropics 3 had been in development for a while after all.

Finished RE2 Leon, and started RE3. RE3 is really not doing it for me so far.
